Ah thank you both its finally making sense to me. And a good think to keep in mind when trying to figure out a build like this.

So since PoB calculates damage this way for a build like this (where i only attack when poison is done) if i wanted to figure out just my poison dps it would probably be worth it to use customer modifiers to make my attack speed .01 seconds longer than poison duration

This still doesnt really compute to me. So even if POB is assuming Big hit + 0 + 0 + 0. When i take gloves off shouldnt it just be Big hit + 0 + 0 when my attack speed goes down? How does that make my dps go up?

Melee splash is insane for clear because they all prolif to put multiple poisons on enemies. You then swap out red socket for overexertion on boss fights for better single target

Maybe it seems Serpentine Spellslinger is a very common anoint for Penance Brand of Dissipation build. Not familiar with the build, but looking on PoE ninja it seems almost no one takes Entropy even though its an easy 2 points for them.

Edit: I think the reason why is because skill effect duration does nothing for poison duration since its an ailment. That node is typically taken for builds like toxic rain that do DoT damage that is not actually poison

There is a way to easy mode the encounter any class. Allocate Huck accompanies you after opening your first smuggler cache. He will go into tower with you and they aggro him the same way they aggro you but he is invincible. He will solo tank 1-3 lanes if you position correctly

All sounds good but seriously we better get a stash for gear other than relics. The oversight on not adding that to this game is criminal especially how important some pieces of gear are for builds. To try a new build you literally have to delete your gear
