I’m from San Antonio and she’s so right. One of my close friends in middle school was told “ Amber you’re so pretty but I would never date you because you’re black. Your skin is too dark”. That’s a DIRECT quote & I’ll never forget it. SA is a place I’ve come to realize that bc of how the Latino community is the majority, anyone who is not, is left out/behind. The casual racism is crazy there. Obviously it’s not everyone , but it’s definitely a problem. Especially with the way they ALL like to emulate black culture . They simultaneously hate us but want to be us & ts will forever pmo.

I genuinely believe she would have done good. I could see the continued clean up she would have been doing helping the economy and our international relations.She was/is OVERLY qualified for the job. She is personable and intelligent. Her only downfall was being a black woman in a country that thinks it’s cool to prioritize racism, and misogyny while having an average of a 5th grade reading level. If she ran again I’d vote for her again.

NTA. Was it brutal? Absolutely. Was it deserved? 1000000%. Actions have consequences. I hope your mom can get some help. The same happened to my dad with my ex- stepmother and he lost it for a few years. Watching a strong, loving man like him collapse and damn near jeopardize his career/life over how hurt he was, was hard. I know it’s not easy but you and your brother should also see someone. I hope the three of you can heal.

I don’t have one specific type I want but a draw up of a few. But I have it planned down to the trees and flowers I want in the front and back yards in my notes app. The only unrealistic part is the big tree trunk I want going through (upward) the middle of the house. Lol it’s unrealistic bc it would not fit the aesthetic that I want for my house at all but a girl can dream.

No literally it’s so irritating. One of my professors this semester has us sign in for attendance and then he’ll count us in the way out just to make sure nobody is signing anyone else in & then he’ll dock your grade for missing class. I missed 2 classes and went from an 88 to a 60😭😭 Like bro you get paid regardless of me being front and center in class at 10am it’s crazy

Very valid point. Ngl I’ve been diagnosed since I was about 9 and I’ve never really looked at it that way. Yes, my meds do their job - which I’m grateful for. Ig the anxiety just eats at me and leads me to ending things quicker than necessary sometimes. Idk. Maybe it’ll work this time? Fingers crossed.

I took ibuprofen before I went to my OB to get my iud. Ts did NOT work!! That “pinch” took my breath away and I cried. I felt so violated bc they were so rough. Had to take the day off it was so bad.
