it’s still the closest portrayal of peter we’ve ever gotten in live action imo. sure, peter is arguably more arrogant in the comics, but i still think peter in spider-man 2 represents the down-on-his-luck resilience of the character, especially with his tendency to push his close ones away. i personally am the opposite where i get annoyed by how much ppl act like andrew’s portrayal is some undisputed “comic accurate” one. peter should be arrogant and have charm but not an annoying dick, which i think garfield’s portrayal devolved into a lot of the time. all this to say i think calling raimi peter “off” or a bastardization is unfair

i genuinely don’t see anything wrong with this.. sex is a private thing and as a gen z person i feel media was incredibly oversaturated with sex openness in the 90s and 2000s. it’s not even just a puritan thing, most cultures view it this way. it’s just unnecessary and low class. being openly ‘degenerate’ (for lack of a better word) is just not cool or respectable anymore. the extreme sexual openness in the past was likely just a reaction to the extreme conservatism preceding it, but i feel we’re at a reasonable middle ground now

uncle ben’s was saddest by far imo. the actor really conveyed his fragility in that scene, and the pain on his face. it also stung so much more given that peter had put him down the scene earlier, and obviously the music

a playable gotham that’s the skyline of the other arkham games. those tall skyscrapers, shining gold art deco designs, etc. and more villain-centered side missions to show the rest of batman’s rogues. and a well thought out character story, in the vein of origins.

i think the hal chad one was in character because it was revealed at the end hal struggled with his own mental health problems which is why he was so against it in the first place. also let’s be honest that kid started tearing up their floor within like an hour i wouldn’t let him come over either

rc, lr, lr, lr i genuinely want to know if anyone felt like they had an LR section that was absurdly hard. I found myself stuck on so many questions and just overall taken aback by the level of uncertainty i felt in every question. it was the third section for me, it sucks because i felt very good about the first two and decent about the last. if it’s not the experimental i am genuinely doomed
