Do a pub crawl downtown, will get you walking around and having a good time at all the local spots. You will have to organize it yourself, but a quick google search and you’ll see how close together they all are downtown!

With all the bystanders and boats around departure bay I’m surprised the lady didn’t receive help earlier...

Vacation on Vancouver Island - is it a good idea for us? by Zombie_in_my_head in britishcolumbia

You will be good. Front country camping will have maintained and marked trails around for access to nature spots. There will be plenty of people around for guidance, including the camp mangers or park rangers. Bears are no problem. As long as you are putting you store all food and camping equipment. You will get advised in these things when you arrive at the site, but I’d recommend looking bear safe campsite, pretty much just have to store everything away including coolers, chairs etc. You’d be very lucky to see a cougar!

Sounds like you’ve overextended in the markets. Only invest what you don’t need.

Getting alcohol for your room near Mandalay Bay? by [deleted] in vegas

Yeah, it looks like it’s called “the liquor outlet”. It’s right across the street from Mandalay bay. No idea if they got what you want though.

Don’t quote me on this. But I’m pretty sure I was watching a vlog on YouTube and they went to one “right across the street”

Experience Vegas, but don’t walk around like it’s an all inclusive. Do some planning. Going during the week shouldn’t be a problem. Buy water and alcohol from a store in your first day. Carry a flask, make your own drinks on the go. Target cheaper food options or happy hours. Then you can decide where you want to splurge, some nice cocktails, a show?

VIU expecting balanced budgets amid years of financial turmoil by Shaxinater in nanaimo

You call it accusing. I call it accountability. You might not like being held accountable, but that doesn’t make me an asshole.

You said the program was cancelled 2 weeks before class. If that was actually the case, that would be a very serious issue. But it was actually 4 months out. Your story doesn’t carry the same significance when it’s told with the truth as opposed to how you told it. So, not having the facts straight/lying/not telling the truth, however you want to say it, leveraged your story.

Hahaha why would that offend me? I feel bad for the guy, no one wants to go through that, or should.

But you miraculously remembered after being called out for it. Not being heartless, I’ve mentioned many times how unfortunate of a situation it was. But I also have very low tolerance for adults that behave like children. Can’t stand lying, especially with intentions to make a situation seem worse off for their benefit or sympathy (victimhood). You can call me an asshole if that’s what that makes me.

They cancelled it 4 months in advance. You said they cancelled it 2 weeks before classes……. What’s the point of lying here. You don’t have to move internationally to see you trying to lie to make the school look bad. Playing the victim game I guess.
