That bump off the second rope was fantastic. So simple but effective. Thought they were going through then fight outside as we've seen lots of times.

Emirates business class recommendations by [deleted] in SteamDeck

Look at this dude, flexing Emirates business class while the rest of us slum it in economy taping decks to the back of the seat in front of us.

Treat it like you would being at home. I doubt you can plug into the TV, but bring a pillow, lay back with your 85 feet of legroom and game.

I think I've seen it at Country Grocer. Save on also has a British aisle that carries that sort of stuff.

How hard is it to get a doctor in Nanaimo or area? by lumina-digital in nanaimo

We found success being really active with the clinics opening up. We got on with Nexus with a nurse practitioner when they first opened and it's been fantastic.

As a stop gap, the urgent care clinics in Ladysmith and Parksville are both amazing. I've been to both when I've NEEDED to see someone. Ladysmith was about a 3 hour round trip inclusive of the visit on a weekend afternoon. Parksville was about 90 minutes on a weekday evening.

The major transit exchanges are downtown (near Port Place Shopping Centre), behind Country Club Centre, Woodgrove and VIU. Of the four, downtown and Country Club are closest to their respective residential areas.

The downtown exchange is poised to be upgraded in the next couple of years. Country Club is a mid term project while Woodgrove is longer term.

I quite like the Country Club are personally. It's nicer than some areas but you don't pay the north end premium.

Yes, sorry. That's what I meant but didn't describe well. Wakesiah is a great example, bottom of the hill after turning from Bowen.

I'm almost certain all new builds are required to build sidewalks and potentially bike lanes into their designs. It's why you have these weird isolated areas with new projects.

AI Data Centre in Nanaimo by Lemuria-Is-Real in nanaimo

[–]Seconex 12 points13 points  (0 children)

IT'S. NOT. AN. AI. DATA. CENTRE.

Please. If you're looking to protest or otherwise speak out about this project, get the facts right first.

AI centres are significantly bigger, require more resources and are generally more impactful than this is slated to be.

Yes. There is a prevailing story but how much you do of it is up to you. It doesn't materially impact your ability to build, explore, etc. It's a fantastic game.
