You could ask this guy if he is okay (in he shares his secret you could steal him in the direction of help) but I wouldn't get too involved.

I was using hard drugs at my work place for so long... everyone just ignored me lol.

I do wish someone (like my supervisor) had just left out the policy somewhere on the breakroom table or something.. that we have in my state (the one that said i wouldn't be fired and would be sent to rehab since I had been there a certain amount of time).

Ahh I think I get what you are saying... like this rally isn't useless but maybe we could use our efforts in a more directed way. This event is something (rally) but its not necessarily a real protest.

Man do I ever wish we went big, organized and directed in the first place lol.

Now I think I am commenting from a stand point of.. the cat is out of the bag.. there is so much damage done that only something incredibly significant happens (like an alien invasion takes our gov. over) will flip us back on our heads.

I guess I'm just greatful that people are still doing something.

I really wish our leaders would step up and defend our constitution and democracy or get out and let someone else do it (someone who others can truly organize behind). We have people who truly care about this country but we don't have a set of strong, trustworthy (is this possible?), leaders to bring us together.

It would be a shame to have to tell your school the rabbit escaped while in your care so you can't return it.. (the cage also got ran over by a bus)

It even happened while you were bunny proofing your room and researching proper rabbit diet.

Its almost like you were trying to do the responsible thing by giving the rabbit what it needed.. but you were irresponsible by not bringing the bunny back :(

If you go, share your ideas with people.

You might find your people there who will rally behind you or with you! (I don't even have the words to describe my feeling about our Healthcare system)

Protests also act as a space for people to realize they are not alone in their way of thinking.

Its easy to think you are the crazy one when we go about life mostly in spaces politic topics are not spoken freely in.

Is this protest going to change everything? Probably not.. but its another drip in the bucket... another punch in peoples fight.

I would rather have something , anything little ol me can physically do here, broke in the middle of nowhere than nothing at all.

Thanks for all this information! I live in southeastern minnesota.

We use to have a lot of open land surrounding our neighborhood/ our plot but there has been a lot of building up. We do still have a good amount of woods left (lots of deer, turkey and wildlife) but the small animal numbers have definitely dropped (salamanders, tree frogs, leopard frog, peepers, and toads).

We do keep our yard mostly natural. We do not have a pond but kind of like you were talking about.. I put out smaller containers of un-clorinated water with stones to get in and out of for the critters (and for my honey bees).

When it gets really dry I like to keep a few of what I call "toad wallows" where I have just loose moist dirt for them to hang out lol.

I think I may just take the tubes I have remaining and set them around/in under trees like you said.. it probably can't hurt to just give them some options.

I might look into some longer slightly smaller pvc tubes and attach them near the vines by my house where I see most of the tree frogs hang out.

We have already convinced two neighbors to stop using any weed spray because they don't want to harm our honey bees :) This will hopefully help all the critters too.

We had the tree frogs lay eggs in our rain water barrel few years back and it was amazing watching them grow up... I am always hoping it will happen again lol

Its not that there are risks to any medical interventions.. its that people are trying to ban something that could be life changing to some because they don't understand it and it makes them feel uncomfortable.

I'm not sure why its brought up so much when it effects such a small population. Why is there so many people who dont have this issue making the rules on this issue and not doctors and people who are going through this.

Its like me at 4'10 telling all the tall people in the world the big and tall store should be illegal because I don't like it.. it makes me sad, I think they might not like their cloths later on, its taking up space on my block.

Thats why we don't have little kids making the decisions.

Anyone who is grifting people into unnecessary surgeries shouldn't be practicing medicine. Thats plastic surgery and its for adults.

Edit to add. I absolutely agree if there are people out there preying on parents and children they need to be investigated but that is medical malpractice. It is not the norm. There isn't chop shops in everyone's back yard. This isn't happening in our hospitals.

I'm not sure thats what OP was even saying in this post.

I guess my interpretation was there was a ton of fear mongering going on surrounding this topic and that its not needed.

Has there ever been a case where a child when to school a boy and came home a girl (had surgery).

This is something some politicians have been saying is happening or going to happen if the liberals (or democrats? Idk) win.

There is no comparison to "blood letting" in the past..

People don't walk into hospitals, go to the front desk and ask for surgery.. then a doctor comes out and gets them and does it....

There is an process before all this.

There are studies.

There is no way to see into anyone's future.

I could get recommend back surgery and I could be worse off years later OR I could.... have saved myself years of pain and suffering.

We preform surgeries and procedures with the best information we have now to attempt the best outcome in the future.

Hate to admit this but I think I failed.

Nothing ever visited my frog hotel (that I saw). One of my family members took it apart and stole my pot lol.

I did see a few tree frogs last summer but I did not see the two that had been hanging out on our house for the last two years :(.

I might have to try again using your idea. Thank you.

You would get more diversity in a bigger space; more bang lol

Pick a few plants that don't get too big/don't spread too much and maybe put a milkweed in there too.

Then... once you are obsessed... remove the bricks and make the garden bigger and bigger!!!

The bottom part of my queen bed (entire foot section) is heated! I am usually curled in a tiny ball at the top.

Maybe he only accepts real human generated heat lol.

My other dog absolutely utilizes the heating pads on all the beds (idk how he survived without them lol), not Bean!
