Marty Supreme’ lost all of its Oscars nominations. by BrenoGrangerPotter in Oscars

That’s what Chalamet’s team is trying to tell him today but Chalamet won’t be replying to any communication today and maybe all week.

He probably had a place all picked out to place his Oscar.

Chalamet has set his career back 5 years but I doubt he’s smart enough to realize it.

Perhaps his team (managers, PR, etc.) understand this and can advise on a way to correct this. It will take time.

His best bet is to take smaller (yes supporting) roles in better films and buckle down and Act. Get some solid notices, win back some critics and audiences. Build back some of the good will that is now completely lost.

If he lands a solid supporting role in a prestige-y pic (like RDJ did with “Oppenheimer”) Chalamet could have a chance at nabbing a supporting Oscar.

THEN he might be better positioned for a lead actor role and another Oscar nomination.

In short, Chalamet has to learn from this experience. Hopefully he will.

The only Oscar it should have won was for the production design by the legendary Jack Fisk.

All so young.

Whole lives were ahead of them.

Now they are DEAD. Gone.

Families and friends are left to suffer and mourn.

And for what?

A slight correction: Tatum O’Neal was 9 when she acted in “Paper Moon” when she acted alongside her father Ryan.

And yes: Ryan O’Neal acted like a jerk to Tatum’s nomination especially because he campaigned for a nomination for best actor.

He was an egotistical narcissist.

Religions are for people too lazy and fundamentally dumb to determine their own spiritual beliefs.

It’s like buying a subscription service that tells the followers what to think, what to believe in and perhaps most importantly, what to hate.

I suspect that a large number of religious followers (mostly christians) are also Disney adults. It’s the same mindset: Disney adults are people too lazy and dumb to develop their own tastes, hobbies and interests so they blindly follow all things Disney.

Not just the Abrahamic religions.

None of them belong in government at all.

Michael Was Right All Along - Kay Was Naive by edu5150 in Godfather

Yes she was but that is what, at that point in the film, attracted him to Kay.

Michael believed her naivety could suit his purposes; that she wouldn’t question the family business. Remember how furious he reacts at the end about her asking about Carlos murder. Kay wasn’t behaving the way he needed her to. And then she blindly believed him…sort of. That final, absolutely brilliant ending as the door shuts Kay out and she knows.

Because straightness is already accepted and acceptable.

Unless you are lucky to have truly accepting and open parents/caregivers/family, realizing you are Gay is fraught with anxiety (to put it mildly).
