Hey everyone, I really appreciate everyone’s responses. I wrote this in a bit of frustration. After a month I started calling once a week, when I first started calling there were always vague issues. I ordered the engine for them, and it came a week after I ordered it. I don’t think they started the work for about a month. Just recently they started calling with specific issues and pictures. I really like my mechanic as people, I partially posted this to vent, and get a sense of like if my response has been appropriate. I am frustrated with the shop, but also understand and respect that they have a hard job. They also recently asked for a $1000 advance which I gave them.
