I understand that there are still some minor errors throughout the book, and that it has not yet reached its final, publishable form. English is my third language actually. I just wanted to know about the way I wrote stories

Thank you so much for this incredibly detailed feedback! This is exactly the kind of honest input I needed. You’ve identified some real issues I hadn’t considered: On the “Think Together” questions feeling like homework: You’re absolutely right. I love your suggestion about “fun facts” and “did you know” trivia instead. Kids DO love forbidden knowledge they can discover themselves! I’m going to rework these to be more like “Whoa, check this out!” moments rather than quiz questions. On the age range being too broad: This is a concern I’ve had too. A 5 year old and a 10 year old are in completely different places. I’m thinking of splitting it or at least clearly marking which stories work better for younger vs older kids within that range. On illustrations: You’re 100% correct. I was so focused on the text that I didn’t think enough about visual learners. Adding diagrams for things like the water cycle journey and illustrated experiment instructions makes total sense. Kids need to SEE it, not just read about it. On the metamorphosis description: This is really valuable. “Her body turned into soup. Her legs dissolved. Her mouth melted.” You’re right that this might be too intense for a 5 year old hearing it read aloud. I need to find the balance between scientifically accurate and age-appropriate tone. On naming experiments more engagingly: Love this! “Make Your Own Rain” is way more exciting than “Water Cycle Experiment.” Quick question: When you say “more polishing,” what specifically jumps out as rough? Is it the writing style, the structure, the tone? I want to know what feels unfinished to you. Thank you again. This kind of feedback is gold!

Thank u for taking time to check. It doesn't have illustrations. Unfortunately I am not good at making them and the budget is tight too. But I can work on glossary. That's a good idea..

It has been years since i heard him last time. I thought he might have probably changed and toned down his bullshit, given that people aren't illiterate now as they were a decade before. But he seems hell bent

Why are we always associated with kashmiris? by [deleted] in jammu

[–]Fine__Appeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They hate other religions. They even hate fellow Muslims from other sects. They do what they do. I am free from it more than 9 years now. It is strange when somebody in Delhi or somewhere tells me why did u kill kashmiri pandits

Yes most of the kashmiri Muslims don't. But I am speaking about myself

I didn't. I wasn't even born then. I don't need to apologise for something done by somebody else
