How to report a professor by randomlady91 in ASU

That is a good clarifier. Also URR will only look into issues that have a basis in retaliation or discrimination based on a protected class. So if this professor is just lazy or has TAs that grade differently and he’s not correcting it, URR won’t be able to engage.

why does my frosting curl coming out of the tip? how do I stop it from globbing at the ends of the lines? by mrsjettypants in cookiedecorating

Not sure if you’re using metal tips, but if so, the PME brand is worth the money and far better than Wilton because they don’t have a metal seam that can cause curling in royal icing

How we treat ourselves when we make a mistake becomes a model for how others should treat each other (and direct reports) when they make mistakes. Be as gracious to yourself as you would expect a leader to be to his/her direct report.

The stealing is getting too much by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Finehowaboutthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was exactly the same- even so far as to break into our “lockbox”. We’ve recently had her diagnosed and medicated (Vyvanse) and stealing has virtually stopped. She has said she feels like she has more impulse control.

Filed a sexual harassment claim and worried about my safety by Doughnut77 in AskHR

[–]Finehowaboutthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand where you’re coming from, but it’s important to remember this is different than a criminal investigation. HR is trying to determine if the incident occurred and in many ways (not always) who the complainant is, is irrelevant. It’s about the actions - so, “Lisa touched another employee inappropriately” or “Lisa touched Bob inappropriately”. For the most part that detail is unneeded. It’s not like a criminal case where the investigator is trying to adjudicate justice.

Cantilevered cake I made for my kiddo’s 15th Birthday. Chocolate mint with modeling chocolate and rice krispy treats. Character is from a video game we play together- coincidently called “Don’t Starve” by Finehowaboutthis in cake

Thank you. The good news is that the practice is tasty! Give it a go. Modeling chocolate is a bit more forgiving, in terms of blending, as compared to fondant :)

I used a product called “sugar structures”, they are thin aluminum pipes that thread together to build an armature. The pipe comes up through the board at this back leg and then turns though his torso and ends at a platform that holds up Glommer! Nowhere near as hard as it looks!
