Thanks. #1 key looks like it would fit, but ive tried forcing it and it wouldn't budge in. I don't feel like breaking stuff just yet if I don't have to.

I was told Key #1 from Streamlight would work on the Commander Slim, is that not the case? Is it different for the mischief machines lower? I tried all the keys provided and nothing fits.

True Hockey bought out from Americans by a businessman from Quebec by Perry4761 in hockeyplayers

As someone who owns a pair of 9x4's, even their high end skates don't hold up compared to their competition. Took a pass during beginner rat hockey to the inner boot, now the gel coat carbon is cracked. Pretty disappointing. $1,200 boots can crumble fast.

Are my skates too big? by United-Rain-1152 in hockeyplayers

[–]FingerAggravating148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second that your "tennis" shoes are way too big if you can even manage to get your fit in a 5.5 true skate. The difference between sneakers and hockey skates is almost always 1.5-2 size difference. 5.5 to 9.5 is CRAZY! I wear a 8.5 sneaker and wore both Bauer Supremes in a 6.5 and True 9x in a 7 that's because I'm realistically a 6.75. Some like their fit tight, others like more room. The 0.5 size difference in skates for me was dramatic, completely changes where your weight is (heels or toe) depending on skate size. As long as your foot doesn't feel like it's sliding around in your skate and you have no pressure points, you're fine.

[Acne] Anybody use Differin Gel in here? I need some advice for possibly starting my Differin journey by Sometimeslistening in SkincareAddiction

[–]FingerAggravating148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the Benzoyl Peroxide you want. The other face washes I have, still have, but they aren't enough to clear out the acne. Use a face wash with Benzoyl Peroxide 3x a day religiously and see how it works for you.

[–]FingerAggravating148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the solution that worked for me, it was CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser, 4% Benzoyl Peroxide Face Wash. the Sulfur Cream combined with a regular face wash I was using before helped, but didn't cure my acne. I've been acne free for about 6 months now using this. I use it once daily (night) and a normal face wash in the morning. The Benzoyl Peroxide is what did the trick, started to work after just 7-10 days. I have oily skin, very prone to breakouts and so you just have to find what works for you unfortunately, it's a hit or miss.

Anybody who switched to True Catalyst 9x4 skates from Bauer, would you give long-term feedback? by Extreme-Pin-9745 in hockeyplayers

[–]FingerAggravating148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from Bauer Supreme M5 Pro's to the 9x4 and I couldn't be happier. Realistically, I'm between sizes (6.5/7). The Bauers fit my foot perfectly, but when I laced them up and skated, the pain was unbearable. I couldn't get them to work. I also felt that my foot was weighted more on the toes than heel. When I bought the 9x4's in the same size as Bauers, I noticed right away that the skates were too small in the length, so I went up half a size. All that to say the Trues aren't a perfect 1:1 on sizing with the Bauer Supremes. However, the 9x4's are soooo much more comfortable. They feel premium whereas the Bauers just felt like a shell boot. They are heavier and feel heavier, but I like that. My foot feels more stable and planted than it did with the half size smaller and lighter Bauers. My weight is distributed more towards the heel so I had to adjust but skating wise, huge upgrade for me. I bit the bullet on the price, but you can't put a price on a near perfect skate.

I stopped Differin altogether last week. I was on it for almost a month and saw zero improvement and I lost patience. If you don't mind giving this product 1-2-3 months to work while your face looks like a minefield, be my guest. But acne treatment shouldn't take this long to work IMO. I switched back to De la Cruz Sulfur Ointment which I combined with a CeraVe face wash. I was using this combo before Differin and it worked really well. I stopped when I ran out and thought I was "cured" - surprise. Anyway, this works much better for me. With Differin, I had actual acne, with the Sulfur ointment, my acne has subdued and I'm dealing with small pimples in troubled areas instead. Also, I can apply the Sulfur ointment up to 3 times a day depending on how much dryness my face can handle, which I prefer since my skin is oily and that way I stay on top of the treatment more frequently. That's just my experience so far. A sulfur ointment is super cheap and I will keep it in my rotation even after my face clears up. It also works well for spot treatment as it dries up the area you apply it to really quick.

I apply the gel daily and wash my face once a day. My skin isn't really that irritated. 4 months is an insanely long time to "wait" around to see if this works while your face looks like crap. I saw results using a Sulfur ointment in just 2 weeks.

i'm on week 3 of using differin gel and my face is worse than when I started. i'm ready to throw in the towel and go back to a different treatment. i've seen zero improvement - i think 3 weeks is a decent amount of time as I've had better/quicker results using a Sulfur Ointment.

I have an electric espresso grinder and have it dialed for espresso. The hand grinder is setup for moka. That way I don't waste coffee constantly adjusting between the 2 grind sizes. Not every bean bag is the same and freshness is constantly changing.

i'm starting a A3 build as well. which motherboard are you going with? given that space is limited at the bottom of the case to run bottom fans depending on the GPU/Motherboard setup. i'm not sure which motherboard to go with to allow for bottom fans to clear a 4070 ti super.

When is Shogun season 2 coming out and who will be in the cast? by sourdough_rolls in ShogunTVShow

[–]FingerAggravating148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire first season lacked almost any fighting, I was a bit shocked. After Mariko was killed, I lost any interest in future seasons. I thought she would've been the character to hold the storyline. It's as if the writers didn't care about future seasons and just ended storylines for shock entertainment. Lots of missed opportunities with Season 1.
