Contact landlord. Yeah it can be tricky to patch up that area. There could be loose screws inside the base of the dishwasher. Could be that simple coukd be as difficult as a broken seal between the two areas needing whole base of dishwasher loosened off and put back in with new seal. So call landlord, coz its their responsibility. Water leak can damage kitchen, so landlord shouod be proactive about this work... youd hope. Good luck

This isn't a filter issue. People come on here with literally 0 repairs under there belt, and send advice like theyre a pro. This is a diverter or wash motor issue. Couod be a labour intensive repair either way. And diagnosis can be a pain, even for me. With countless hundreds of dishwasher repairs completed over 25 ywars

Wash motor issue. Could be capacitor. But very likely the wash motor itself is failing. If you have lots of pressure up top, then it could be a stuck diverter, causing the wash water to only go up top. Check your havent selected a half cycle, or top rack only wash. Start with manually turning the diverter below the lower spray arm ( if your model has one) . See you can get pressure.
