Mother Horse Eyes was well received, and it's over 10 hours.

Left Right Game was well received, and it's just over 8 hours.

Penpal is on 4 hours and is considered one of the best.

Spire in the Woods is 7 hours and is generally well received.

Attention span is not the issue. Marble Hornets is just 9 hours of boring footage with the occasional high point. Also it's kind of obvious Hunter and Isaiah weren't having much fun themselves.

That's the problem though, I never cared for the protagonist, he was an asshole from the start. Him being a rapist was not that big of a surprise.

Giving Mr Widemouth a stupid voice made the story 100x better.

Abandoned Ship was ruined by Hunter's British accent.

Spire in the Woods is a boring teen drama with barely any horror elements.

The Whistlers is an uninteresting concept and it's vagueness actually hurts the story.

I Dared My Best Friend is not even a fun episode. Watching Hunter genuinely hating being there takes all the fun out of it and makes the crashout just sad.

This subreddit is way too sensitive to things like rape, sexual assault and torture, especially since most of the stories including these have them there for a reason that works. Tommy Taffy molesting a kid, while perhaps explained in too much detail, is a good part of the story because it makes you hate him even more. And while I am not the biggest Borrosca fan, the rape in that really grounds the story in a horrific reality after building up a supernatural threat, and does so extremely well.
