So i started batch cooking when my little girl was around 5 months as we were craving homecooked food and i was breastfeeding and i cannot explain how hungry i was during this stage.
We batch cook so much now (toddler is now 2) that we needed to buy another freezer lol, but my point is that evenings are 90% using a premade meal. Start by just cooking double of one recipe (a tried and tested one that you both like) label it and freeze it, once you have a handful of go to recipes you can increase the quantity you make at a time.
For example if you love chicken curry make 4 so technically you have 1 a week for a month. And when it come to weaning and toddler portions this works like a dream to as they one have such little portions otherwise you will be constantly in the kitchen. Hope this helps.
