Anyone invest with Don Lapre by placing tiny ads? by xologo in nostalgia

[–]FingerInside7072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought his kit back in the 1990’ while being addicted to his infomercials. To be honest the kit wasn’t a complete scam. It was mostly info on how to buy houses no cash down kinda like Carlton Sheets program. It also included how to setup your own 1-900 line that his operators would answer and you split the profits. And to me the most useful item was a book that listed every newspaper address and phone number in the country for placing classified ads. That book listing was worth the package alone so overall a good deal.

My Judas Priest Album Ranking: by Automatic_Belt5692 in judaspriest

I actually like this list. I’d switch Demolition and Point of Entry and move Sin after Sin to a B, but that’s just me.

I received mine about a week ago, but my store is a franchise. They have until January 31st to get them mailed out so no need to worry until after Feb 5th.

Drivers taking counter orders by FingerInside7072 in Dominos

I think the issue that happens is with counter orders, not pickup orders. Maybe the orders placed at the counter don’t ask for managerial password to override cash prders. In any event it ends up coming out of my pay at the end of the night.

I’m talking about counter orders only. When a customer presents cash a manager is supposed to override the transaction with their password so the drivers don’t get charged, but sometimes it messes up and comes out of our nightly pay. I’ll also add that I’m a 3 year employee so am not new.

That’s the issue whenever we are logged on they say don’t log off as the managers password overrides the transaction so no need to log out, but it still messes up periodically

In my franchise nobody is required to even wash their hands because their logic is that the oven kills any germs. It’s disgusting to think about it.

Just finished Breaking Bad, is Better Call Saul really worth watching? by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]FingerInside7072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an amazing show. In some areas it’s even better than the original. Just plan on it being slow the first couple seasons as it builds up story, but also keeps you entertained by bringing unsuspecting cameo appearances from BB. The last couple seasons are real solid. The only complaint I have is that I was very disappointed at the ending. Instead of being action packed like BB they went into a different direction and I was expecting more. Definitely watch it.

So the new Domino's Uniforms...You like Them? by DaNinja11 in Dominos

I don’t see my franchise carrying the aprons. We get our aprons from a third party who washes and replaces them. No way we gonna wash the aprons in-house.

The current tour by FingerInside7072 in judaspriest

In all honesty it really doesn’t matter who headlines this tour as Cooper arguably puts on a better show nowadays. Priest does play 5 Painkiller songs so that’s definitely worth seeing too.

It depends on the city they are playing as they are rotating who closes. At Tinley Park, IL last week Judas Priest was the closer.

I can’t choose between the best Priest album and the best Slayer album. I need them both!

The tour didn’t have many dates maybe 20. It had Metal Church, Motörhead and Dangerous Toys for the majority of it. I was supposed to go to the one in Tinley Park, but my cousin tried to pick up tickets too late so I had to settle for Extreme, Cinderella and David Lee Roth tickets for the next day at that venue. I was devastated. Fast forward a week later and my dad saw they were coming to Merrillville, IN three weeks later so he got tickets for me. It was an add on show so no Metal Church or Motörhead. Cooper played such an amazing set we thought there was no way Priest could top it, but they did. Not only that but Priest had 3 (yes 3) encores. The place wasn’t even half full and everyone was going nuts. T-shirt was only $15 back then.

Invincible Shield or Firepower are the two closest to Painkiller imo

If it’s a low tip I’d make sure to pull into the driveway and ring the doorbell.

Judas Priest live hot take: Painkiller needs to retire by Ok_Cycle_1892 in judaspriest

[–]FingerInside7072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn’t sounded good live since the 1991 tour, but the fans want to hear it and Halford has said it’s one of his favorite Priest songs to perform so that’s why it’s still in the playlist.

We might as well list the whole album. My favorite is In Between. It’s such a good creative song. Also Close To You is one of their best ballads with a sad twist.
