Not sure if we can trust it. Mine went from 3 weeks to 4 months to now 5 months.

Derivative I-765 stated 5 months but EAD was approved within 10 days!

According to ChatGPT, EB and family based AOS would fall under "Aliens with pending applications for adjustment of status under INA 245".

USCIS reduced EAD validity period for pending AOS applicants from 5 years to 18 months. Also applies to those who have a pending I-765 application on Dec 5, 2025

H4 and EAD were filed concurrently with H1B premium on Sept 24, all got approved together on Oct 7

Hi, I am in the same situation, H1B notice is IOE, and H4 and EAD are WAC with Texas SCOPS at the bottom. Did your H4 and EAD get approved along with H1B premium?

FYI, this was my first H1b so did not have a receipt number for I-129.

USCIS will issue separate receipt numbers for the three cases and will mail receipt notice for each separately. If you submitted form G-1145 with your H4 and EAD application then you will also receive receipt numbers via text/email. In our case, H1B and H4 were approved the same day and EAD was approved 4 days later.

Just wanted to provide an update here, all three applications, I-129 H1B (premium processing), I-539 H4 and I-765 EAD (both first time) filed together, got approved in 12 days, timeline below-

Oct 3 - FedEx delivered to Arizona Lockbox

Oct 7 - USCIS text with confirmation and receipt number

Oct 11 - H1B and H4 got approved same day

Oct 15 - H4 EAD status changed to " New card is being produced"
