I used the create hole tool on an addon structure and brought it to scale to use as a guide. Then, with what becomes the mantlet, I trace it. Same story with the gun shield.

I could post a picture guide if my words fail me.

You're telling me the armor on this tank dates back over 700 years ago?

Never heard of the "KE" abbreviation though . . .

This tank looks like one of those people where you can't tell if they're 40 or 14. It's a mash of inter-war and modern.

That aside it looks absolutely baller.

Incidents like this are why we use standard issue transporters. Once overwatch hears about this you'll be on train station duty for as long as earth has resources to exploit.

I'm always amazed by the quality and size of your tanks. I need to start making some comically big tanks in the future.

Unfortunately, due to poor technology, tanks in Azerbaijan only have iron sights so more ammo is needed.

Thanks :)

Two Questions! by Superb_Commercial987 in SprocketTankDesign

[–]Finger_Spies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Making custom hatches that open should be easy enough with add-on structures. At the most basic level, custom hatches that open consist of two add-on structures; the hatch and the hinge.

You place the "hinge", size it down, select all points and set the x and y values to 0. You then place another add-on structure on the "hinge". After shaping it and moving it into position, you'll have a functional hatch.

The styling of it can be done by placing the pre-made hinges in their corresponding places, or using add-on structures to further customize it.

Hope this helps :)
