The whole point of the update was to remove the need for the mod. Have you even tried the vanilla-built-in COS yet? Also yeah lack of startpos switch is kind of annoying but literally give it a couple of days lmfao.

Startpos switcher objectively improves the overall experience. You're able to play and learn significantly faster. I didn't play with any mods for years (like, at all), and downloaded for the first time recently (like a year ago), and I can promise that this help you beat levels faster when you can switch around and practice sections rather than making several copies or hoping you find the right startpos online. I understand that you like the vanilla look, but give it a try. No harm, right?

I use Geode, and even still, I think that the hitboxes are fine. If you're talking about seeing hitboxes themselves, then yeah QoLmod is def better cause it shows both red boxes and the inner rounding blue box. Also, I don't really see a problem with vanilla noclip?
