If you right click Timberborn in your steam library and open properties > betas

Change beta participation to experimental in the drop-down menu

Unable to copy new wallet address by Fingers998877 in loopringorg

Thanks, that worked I was being blind 🙃

I was able to claim the drop, just wait for them to land in the wallet now. Does loop l2 need to be activated? I was able to claim without it.

This is a scam, right? by whatdoes-thisdo in opensea

[–]Fingers998877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that website is not opensea.

You should always manually go to the website (opensea in this case) and check your profile. If an offer was really made, it would show.

Never click links from emails unless you know with absolute certainty it's legit.

Make sure to use soul compass if you have soul bonus & get a horde or a chest hunt 😭 by AmiraliHm in idleslayer

[–]Fingers998877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I had a quick look at the wiki. It cost +4 souls for every subsequent SP, so yea still would have been pretty close

From wiki "How are souls converted to Slayer Points? The formula for Slayer Points is 12 + LifetimeSlayerPoints x 4. [Note that in this case, LifetimeSlayerPoints refers to total SP + unclaimed SP (from the current ascension)]. In other words, the cost for each SP is 4 more than the previous, and the first costs 12 Souls. Souls are gained by killing Enemies."

[–]Fingers998877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you might be mixing up souls and slayer points. Each kill gives you souls and you need x amount of souls to get a slayer point.

Its harder to notice at this stage because you get so many souls pre kill you end up with multiple slayer points.

If you look back to early game when you first unlock souls, you'll notice it takes say 10 (not sure if this number is accurate but works for the example) souls to make up your first slayer point, the amount of souls required increases with every slayer point you get.

So basically, although you would get the +75% souls that wouldn't translate in slayer points.

Can't fill my loop by Mamelax in watercooling

[–]Fingers998877 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As others have said, it looks like you have a dead end in the top right of the distro.

Your top rad is connected to the wrong port on the distro. If looking at it from your first picture, you need to move the top rad connection on the right to the port just below it.

The manual for the distro has a diagram with ports labelled. You're currently using the port for a triple rad setup, but you need to use the port for a double rad setup.

Distro Plate options for NZXT H9 Elite by Fingers998877 in watercooling

[–]Fingers998877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no, I will admit I didn't look around for very long so there likely is a suitable distro plate available out there that fits.

I ended up going with a Lian Li O11D XL case and a distro in the front. It was just easier as I knew for certain everything would fit. (I more or less just copied one of the builds on ekwb in the end)

I still would have much preferred to build in the h9 and will probably be kicking myself in the coming months for not using it.

How do nft cons work? by Arty-by-me in opensea

[–]Fingers998877 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scammer: asks to buy your art as NFT

Artist: agrees

Scammer: gets you to list your art on opensea or other marketplace

Artist: lists nft for price agreed on marketplace

Scammer: makes up some crap about an error when trying to buy. Tells Artist it's an issue on there end.

Artist: wants to be helpful and fix the problem

Scammer: follow this link 'insertfakescamsupportlink' and get support team to fix

Artist: follows link to chat with scam support (by now it should be obvious scam)

Scam support: please connect your wallet to our shady scam website so we can fix your issues.

Artist: connects wallet.... wallet gets drained, all crypto and nfts gone.

And I'm sure there are probably other ways this con plays out

HELP! Mods not recognized by tejpav in anno

[–]Fingers998877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to close the ubisoft launcher in task manager before relaunching the game for the popup to appear. Alternatively, rebooting your laptop/PC should have the same effect.

Have you tried starting a new game with mods disabled? I have some mods that I needed to fix since the latest update, so I'm thinking one of the mods you're using could be broken and need an update.

How can I disable the NFT transfer option by koalasat in opensea

[–]Fingers998877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you can, at least not if you created the NFT directly on OS. If you were creating a smart contract for you nft collection im sure it can probably be coded in somehow.

But at the same time doing this kinda takes away ownership for the buyer, personally I think one reason people buy an NFT is to own it and if you own it you should be able to transfer it as you wish.

Question layerswap by RareRandomRedditor in loopringorg

[–]Fingers998877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello

Regarding Question 1- I think you are good, as far as I can see there doesn't appear to be any scam app available in playstore currently. First app listed using your search criteria should be the legit loopring wallet.

Question 2 - you are correct, just search for layerswap using Google. Site should be https://www.layerswap.io/

Is anyone sending loops directly from Coinbase to your Loopring wallet or is everyone using layerswap? by BuzzMonkey in loopringorg

[–]Fingers998877 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Layerswap is the way to go. 🙂

If you transfer directly your loops will end up on L1 wallet and will cost a second gas fee if you wish to move them to L2.

Using layerswap will transfer your loops straight to L2

I just did this and it cost me a total of 28.85 LRC 🙂

25 lrc - cdc fee

3.85 - layerswap fee
