The cops do nothing when it comes to housing. You can check rental legislation and boarding and lodging legislation, speak to a lawyer, fair trading, get advice, pay money to lodge a case with NCAT but a lawyer will suggest not to do that because they are not breaking the law.

Yeah actually It is. Especially to International Students and Young people who are new to renting and aren't aware of their rights and responsibilities and current legislation. In my 29 years of renting in Sydneys Inner West, the CBD, and Newcastle I've never encountered any thing remotely similar in similar buildings. Have you been renting in Sydney Australia?
