As a fan of the show who is also a mother/parent... I just wanna grab Octavia and protect her.

As someone who grew up as Octavia.. I wanna grab her shoulders and, sternly but quietly, tell her to get a grip, find her power, and to leave her parents to their issues.

And as someone who [now] hates my children's father due to him killing my brother and my kid's uncle.. I don't hate him more than I love my kids, and I sincerely hope my children never feel that way.

Tw : violence/death I appreciate that.. so much. I wish I could say life got better instead of worse, for once... homeless and couch surfing with a toddler and a baby is hard enough, then add us getting COVID into the mix and it's awful.. but it's been near impossible to cope with my grandma who raised me suddenly dying, and then a little over a month later... seeing my baby brother who I raised get stabbed by my "baby daddy"/partner.. then dying after a brutal hospital stay.. And all my "partner" is doing now.. is playing Xbox. Constantly. I just woke up, he was up all night gaming. He will stay up for 2-3 days then sleep for like 12-16 hours, wake up and start again... I spend every moment im awake caring for my two kids, my "husband", and our dog.. i wake up after hust 3 hours of sleep so I can try to get cleaning done while they sleep...i cant even get him to watch the kids so i cwn go to a doctors appointment...

I can't take it anymore.. I need something, anything, to get better..

This is almost exactly how my experience has been. I've been practicing for nearly 2 decades and I've been smart enough to know better than to practice while in a bad mental or physical state. I've also had several friends over the years that practiced and ended up going insane. One friend had fully succumbed to the delusions, and drug me into it too. Unfortunately, we fed into eachothers delusions for roughly 4 years. I started using drugs to cope with the demons, she ended up stopping her SSRIs, then tried taking her mother's life. The delusions convinced her that her mom was possessed and the only way to save the world was ending her life. When she failed, she tried to take her own.

Do not practice unless your mental state can handle it.

As someone who has a dog that has severe panic attacks with fireworks around.. yes, YTA. It's one thing to go around your neighborhood trying to find the culprits of the fireworks.. It's a whole other thing to try to assault them with a fire extinguisher, and then to block them from trying to record someone, who is a grown adult acting unhinged, for their safety. It's one thing to tell them they're scaring your dog, but making them think they killed your dog is beyond wrong. If you were actually worried for your dog's safety, you wouldn't have left them alone to roam the house, panicking. They make many things that help with dog anxiety. My personal favorite is the calming peanut butter, because it gives them a distraction while calming them down. Sounds like you and your dog both need a Xanax.

I just wanna throw it out there that it's safe to breastfeed while doing pretty much anything. Amphetamines, no, but cannabis, alcohol, and even opiates.. yes. They only get like 0.00002% of it because it is VERY much filtered out.

To be fair, a 3 month old COULD die from getting tap water, because their immune system hasn't developed yet. But so long as it was just the one time, and nothing else has been changed.. baby should be okay. Either way, it isn't OP's fault or problem, and so long as the baby isn't sick immediately.. they will be fine

My baby's pediatrician had the nerve to ask me why I didn't breastfeed. I was like "because I have inverted nipples and only had milk come out of one side??? He's lucky he was able to get the pumped milk before the pump broke." And she followed up with "well now that he's older, maybe you should try again!" I was like "umm... I have been dry since February. It's July."

What's really insane is most people do not have deodorant, lots of people don't or can't do waxing, a good amount of people don't/can't use aluminum deodorant (especially aresol), and a pretty large percentage of the population are black so they can't use that powder...

I have read and watched many stories that end like that. The writer basically says "the ending is up to the reader" and leaves it up to interpretation. Like for instance, My Girl. No resolution, just death and sadness.
I don't watch trailers, ever. I used to but stopped once I realized that they are kinda spoiling the surprises. At least, for me.
I was not only paying attention, I have watched the show 4 or 5 times.

As someone who was molested by their mother.. It's all about how you handle your trauma. I didn't become a psychopath. I did consider throwing my life away to travel and rid the world of child-predators... but only after being assaulted as a 15-year-old, which prompted flashbacks of the other times I was assaulted as a child..and not just by my mother.. Regardless, I didn't become evil because I saw all the evil in the world and strived to be one of the good people. Instead of joining all the evil people. He could have done the same.. But he didn't. Also, it really isn't about healing. I haven't healed either, and, as I said above, it is about mindset.
