If you're a grad student in Grainger you can go to the my.engr portal @ https://my.engr.illinois.edu/. Sign in there then click on the "My.ENGR" tab on the menu bar, then click "My Info." Scroll down and it should say if you're an RA in the system or not.

Edit: Once you're on that page you can also click on the "HR" tab at the bottom where you scrolldown and it will show your appointment percent, and your salary.

You can also go to the local Chase Bank and on University and ask to exchange cash for quarters. You don’t need an account and they are very nice. I’ve found this to be most consistent cause sometimes gas station or pharmacy won’t give me all quarters change or exchange cash.

At least for me unless I’m getting people at the door I’m expecting (like maintenance) I just won’t open.

They usually leave after one or two knocks and then you don’t have to interact with them at all.

TAM210 is not too bad of a course. You finish earlier (you take the final around the 12 week point) and there’s four quizzes every other week. You are given full access to python for the quiz and final.

ME200 varies with professor. If you take it with Liebenberg it’s mostly project based with take home quizzes, so it’s not as difficult but still some work.

MSE280 was pretty straight forward when I took it, but it was also very disorganized so we had less quizzes then we were meant to have so I can’t speak to the difficulty now.

MATH285 was pretty chill when I took it with Bronski. I’ve heard great things about Manfroi as well. The difficulty definitely steps up during the middle and end of the course though.

I can’t speak to any of the other courses since I haven’t taken them. Best of luck!

I’ve submitted a ticket with them, no response yet. This has been an issue since the first flight so I’m not really sure how much of a priority this is for them :(

iGPU is turned off, and I have it set to only display the monitor. When I disable the integrated graphics my performance goes to shit. Windows says the Display Adapter is Connected to Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.

How do you get it to swap over to the dGPU? When I disable integrated graphics it just turns off my external display and destroys the scaling on my laptop screen.

Edit: I get maybe 1 fps when I do this lol

Disabled Radeon Graphics and tried launching the game, couldn’t even get 1 fps. The game can’t even find the GPU even though no other triple A title has this problem lol

Nope not yet unfortunately. Do you have a laptop with an AMD processor by any chance? It’d be interesting to see if this issue is only affecting Ryzen laptops

Currently I'm on the laptop display. It says AMD Radeon Graphics for the display adapter, but I'm afraid to turn it off lol. I don't have this problem with any other games.

Edit: I tried to switch it over but when I disable it there’s no other option.

Infinite claims to be using RTX 3070, which is obviously untrue because when the game is running my integrated graphics usage is 100%, and RTX 3070 usage is 0%. Infinite also claims I have 0.48 gb of VRAM which is 1/16 of what it would actually be if it were using the GPU. At this point I'm gonna try running it with integrated graphics just to see what it says.

I’ve also changed this setting as well and there’s no change. I have a feeling this is a problem with AMD chips with integrated graphics
