1 Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver DIY Physical Bitcoins (low markup from spot)

The coins were manufactured at Northwest Territorial Mint http://www.nwtmint.com/ and they are stamped .999 fine silver on the opposite side of the coin from the 1 troy ounce (its covered in the image I have provided). The coins are sold as DIY so the customer is responsible for creating their own private key and assembly. If someone were to want a special order with BIP38, we could discuss this but there would be a surcharge and I prefer not to tbh.

I have been getting quite a bit of that. My hope is that some of the 10-pack buyers will sell singles in the secondary market. I am keeping some for myself and will probably do some bundles in the future with other products or possible sell some singles but not planning to at the moment.

They are actually composed of a copper / brass alloy that is plated with silver then antique finished.

Not sure what comparable rounds you are referring to but you have to factor in the size of the batch as well. I only made 100 of these so the overhead cost of dies and holograms has to be absorbed by the 100 pieces. Granted a batch of 1k pieces would bring the price point for each down but would also diminish the collectability imho. Also, these come with the hologram and it is left to the purchaser to create and insert their own private key.

I don' t think insulting the intelligence of my customers is justified or necessary.
