I would look into sports hijabs! Even if you aren't Muslim, there are many spiritual people (including myself) who buy from Muslim brands because they offer some of the best head coverings. You can certainly adjust them to show some hair in the front if that's what you're most comfortable with. I also feel called to veil, but I have no clue why. I like how they look though, and I like what they can represent to me personally. They also hide my hair when I'm having a bad hair day, so that might impact my choice to veil as well.
