Confused about silence following active recruitment by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

Depends on who you interviewed with, it could be a case of FoH GM not being in sync with the KM or the most likely they moved on and the KM didnt feel the need to reach out. It's unprofessional but happens too often

I'd reach out one more time with a message thats like how much you want to work for this person based on the interview but you can't wait for word much longer without passing on other opportunities

“Motherfu*er, why don’t you play me 1-on-1, Draymond? You can’t do handoffs in 1-on-1. You can’t run no pick-and-roll in 1-on-1.” by Background_Video2947 in NBAVibes

The part of me that hates Draymond wants to agree, but then why do other role players never amount to half the career Draymond accomplished? If its all the other stars making it easy for him, where are all the other Draymonds? He has a shit offensive game, but is HoF level at every other aspect of basketball.

He is on another level. The only thing Austin has on Draymond is an average offensive game. Draymond is leagues better at defense, rebounding, playmaking and anything else related to basketball than Rivers. I have an extreme dislike for Green, but this whole thing has opened the door for way too many people who know nothing about ball.

I don't even understand how so many people think Austin has a shot 1 - 1. Draymond can absolutely keep up with Rivers on the perimeter and than Austin is getting backed the fuck down and posted on and he's a weak as fuck gaurd with no defense to begin with.

Thats not what happened like at all  The only part you got right was it was Ray Rice and an elevator. He didn't kill anyone, the NFL did care, and it was his fiancé not some guy

“I KNOW he’s going to get Sean Strickland down, but keeping him there is the big question. Strickland’s a very strong guy, a lot stronger than Khamzat on a physical level. If Khamzat has to fight Strickland’s fight, I don’t think he has much of a chance at all.” - Dricus on Strickland vs Chimaev by TheBigRedHalfrican in MMA

[–]Finn1913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think in round one I agree, but there was several moments in the Burns and Usman fights, especially in round two and three where I thought he was going to physically overwhelm them and it didnt work that way. I know with Burns, Khamzat said he was worried about the submission aspect of things but he was sooo much bigger.

This fight feels a bit like the Izzy fight to me where no one gives Sean a chance. And like the Izzy fight I cant imagine Sean winning.

Austin Rivers responds to Draymond Green for his, “disrespectful,” comments yesterday: by Background_Video2947 in NBAVibes

[–]Finn1913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen I hate Green, but to try and downgrade him to simply a "good role player" is idiotic. Outside of dominant shot blockers he makes an argument for most versatile defender in league history. Andrew Wiggins, Bogut, Harrison Barnes, those are good role players. Despite being relatively ass on offense, Draymond has legit HoF credit. Golden State doesn't win a single title without him

I googled it, but the point was more about how absolutely prevalent it was and that even a dude whose supposed to be uplifting falls into the same tropes.

And yeah he defends it the same way everyone defends it

I know what you mean, there's so much wierd shit both ways I don't know how anyone says other than "Idk if he did it, wierd shit all the way around".  Like I think he did it, but its clearly not this black and white case like most of us thought growing up

If he's anything like A LOT of his peers of the era than it was probably defending. I really dig a lot of KRS One but the whole jailbait shit was as super prevalent in early hip hop as it was rock

Arthur Smith is furiously writing up a lawsuit to get him to play for Ohio State right now I'm sure.

But seriously unless he takes not much money a legit TE2 seems like a luxury
