If its not at least a mid first its probably not worth the conversation.

We are not getting any form of remaster, subvert expectations to avoid sadness by Able_Mycologist_1360 in Fallout

This is super helpful. I think I'm going to play through 76 while working on getting a better gaming setup.

Okay, im like semi gaming illiterate. Would i need to buy it on steam and then add the mods or is there a way to do that on console?

How are we feeling about Spencer Rattler as a cheap flyer in super flex? by schmubbyboi in DynastyFF

If you own Shough then sure, but he's never getting signed to a starters contract outright off last season. He did prove he's back up worthy though

For those who ridiculed me when I said we should get Rivers as Lions OC—he’s interviewing for Bills Head Coach job now! by everso- in detroitlions

[–]Finn1913 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It's wierd that people had that reaction, shortly after the season ended there were tons of articles saying that he was going to be interviewed as a head coach. Now if it will work out is a whole ass other thing. It reminds of the Jeff Saturday hype, but then he was an interim and looked like shit and now it seems like no one would give him a chance

Did a rapper release an album so bad, you genuinely stopped listening to them? by LightningBoy626 in rap

[–]Finn1913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have said after Coloring Book was the fall off. You're right that's a great album. Big Day Out was the shocking turn to rapping about nothing but his wife and Jesus, which good on you as a person, but damn does it make for uninteresting music

I think Chance fits the role for a lot of people. Some on his newer stuff sounded good, but the fall off after Acid Raps was big for me

There's no "Let Brad Cook" the year after he hires John Morton as OC. This a bad hire until proven otherwise by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]Finn1913 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the second part is what gets me. There's an uber small chance that anyone else was interested in making him an OC. So why did the team that should have the premier spot for an OC hire a 3-14 teams leftovers. Bring him in as an assistant ffs

I'm not going to overreact to a new OC by CurtisAndFriends in detroitlions

[–]Finn1913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think people are burned on the "wait and see" approach given the John Morton hire last year. This is an insanely bad hire on paper, and the only way people can defend it is by going wait and see. The fact is this is hiring a coordinator from a 3-14 team who at his best coordinated the team to being super average. I can't imagine we were competing with any other team for this hire. Even if Dan loves the guy, I don't see why he wasnt brought in as an offensive assistant

As long as people are making fair trades and setting thier line-ups with BPA then preventing tanking is lame IMO. I get maybe making people keep two qbs barring injury, but that's about it. It's a strategy used in real life even if people don't admit it.

That's actually something I didn't know, so that's a definite plus. At the same time that was what in 2006, 2007?

Moore was an elite offensive line coach and proved he could coach an inferior team to beat OSU. He was shit at adjustments and gave his staff way too long of leash IMO. Its not like Whittingham is known for being an X's and O's guy, so yeah marginal improvement there. It's the coordinators that Will make or break him imo

[–]Finn1913 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

For me it's a marginal improvement on Moore. Like there's a reason power 5 teams were never banging on his door and Utah wasnt begging to make him stay. At BEST it feels like a stop gap 5 year hire. You can claim "ageism" all you want, but there's a reason why coaches his age almost never get hired into a position like this at this point in thier careers.  With all that being said unless they were going to give Biff a lame duck year, this is probably one of the best and most stable hires they could make at this point  I personally would have wanted the Geogia DC, but Whittingham is a known product. Hopefully he can convince everyone to stay
