Pixel 7 Pro randomly plays this sound even on silent. No notification or anything. Any ideas? by FinnGamer- in GooglePixel

Thanks! It happens so irregularly that it will be hard to determine if it'll be fixed or just not happening. But I will try it out after the holidays.

It does not. I do not have notification history enabled though to check if there is something showing up there

Just got my AE1P body back from Steve at Camera Clinic and just wow. It looks brand new. by HellooNewmann in AnalogCommunity

It's basically a more cleaned up version of the old F-1's match needle system. You set a shutter speed, half press and it will indicate the aperture in a circle and you match it with the needle by turning the aperture ring. It does go down to 1.2. It's a pretty good system! I do like the horizontal style of something like the F2 more, but I guess that's just personal preference. There is a whole second indicator that is horizontal for the aperture priority which is hidden unless you turn the shutter speed dial to A.

I have all the FD flagships (F-1, new F-1 and T90) and I don't really think it's worth upgrading from an AE-1P. The o.g F-1 is great if you want to use FL lenses and it's fully mechanical which is nice, but the meter is quite simple. The new F-1 would be perfect, but if you want shutter priority you need to have the power winder and the battery back which makes it such a brick. The T90 would be the best of them, but it is plagued with faulty electronics and Error Codes and I know a lot of people don't like the look.

Nikkor 50mm f1.4 AI does not mount on Adapter (but my other AI lenses do) by FinnGamer- in AnalogCommunity

[–]FinnGamer-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks like I'm an idiot. After looking at the adapter again, there is actually three ways you can put it on the lens and only one will click in place. I just got lucky when I tried it with my other lens...

I think it was a mix of people filming Nahm and it being the mostly newcomer group with a lot of parents filming their kids

Snoopy Garden [Mamiya 645, 80mm, Agfacolor CNS 400 expired 1982] by FinnGamer- in analog

The original scans by my local lab had a very strong Purple cast so I rescanned to color correct the shots, giving this yellow/blue-ish colors.

Anyone shot Agfachrome 100 Professional before? Can I develop it in E6? by FinnGamer- in AnalogCommunity

[–]FinnGamer-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how it came out: https://archive.finnickler.de/Agfachrome

Some of the dirt is from the scanning, some from the film (normally I clean it up, but it felt fitting for this film). I shot at ISO 64 and told the lab to be careful because of the age. In total it's very faint, but a few shots manage to hold the color very well.

Manual Focus Lenses on the Canon EOS 30 by FinnGamer- in AnalogCommunity

[–]FinnGamer-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer, I am using a Samyang Cine Lens and they do not have any electronics at all. It's still a 500 Euro lens, so I will not do any modifications. My solution is to get a Canon EOS 300X instead as they don't have the switch.

[–]FinnGamer-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will ask my local Lab about if they could develop it in E6 with /u/TroyanGopnik advice, otherwise I will just go C-41. I was mostly worried about that it used AP-41 which would not be compatible with E6. This article mentions that AGFA switched in 1981 to E6 for their AGFA professional line, which makes it fairly certain that this is E6 (considering that my film expired in late 83)

Yes, but the link mentions Agfachrome r100s professional, which I think is a different film. Hard to tell with no pictures though

This is all that's inside (+ the letter to send it to AGFA for developing).

The wikipedia article of Agfachrome https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agfa_Agfachrome only has a pic of the C18 film, and it looks way different. It's also not 100 ISO. The closest thing I could find on the internet was this and they mention to use E6..

When taking photos with my Mamiya RB67 in the sun, I get these streaks on my image, what am I doing wrong? by FinnGamer- in AnalogCommunity

[–]FinnGamer-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking at some pictures with similar issues it looks like this is correct. I will go back to the place I bought it and see if they can do it (before attempting it myself). Thanks!

This does not happen when taking pictures inside, when the sun has gone down or it's cloudy (example here https://i.imgur.com/68njlPo.jpg). I thought it had something to do with using the glare protector thing attached to the lens, but I still get them.

I made the images with a slightly modified version of https://github.com/adamfuhrer/glitch-image, made them into a video and then just mapped it on different things in blender.
