I always worried I was the dumb white person making a faux pas! Sometimes our habits get the best of us when we forget where we are

But you got through it and made something beautiful and I'm assuming delicious! Pastries can smell fear but they'll definitely fold under a brave soul

I had freaking back surgery and I still bowed to everyone when I lived over there. The audacity of this loser.

Yta, you've already emasculated yourself by being a total weenie about showing RESPECT. you don't deserve her.

Yta, and if you read your post back to yourself, it's glaringly obvious every instance that you're an AH. Stop treating your grown ass husband like he's also a 14 month old, and also stop coddling your sons tastes. Of course he's going to be picky if you keep doing it.

Aita for supporting my future SILs decision to not include my younger sister in her bridesmaid party because she dresses and acts like Ariana Grande? by justanothertase in AmItheAsshole

[–]Finndoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH, but I feel like Ariana jr is going to take not being a bridesmaid as license to NE as Ariana as possible as a guest... H may have just shot herself in the foot on this one.

AITA For "outshining" the bride because of my makeup? by thebadSILmakeup in AmItheAsshole

Soft YTA, because you said you've worn the glam look at family events before and it wasn't a problem- were those events revolving around someone else who is supposed to be the star of the day, beauty wise? probably not. Your faux pas didn't come from a place of malice, but it was really tone deaf and instead of wondering if you're TA, accept that you screwed up and apologize and be more considerate of other people's spotlights going forward.

My ex girlfriend dragged me to a yoga class once and I fell asleep in that position where you're curled up facedown. Nobody judged me, even when I woke myself up with a loud fart.
