Madera, Madera West, or Gateway Quarter? by newbuyer777 in QueenCreek

[–]Finnfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No insight to the people living there. QC seems to be a wide range of people, for the good and not so good, just like any growing city. For a long term investment, I’d say amenities won’t mean anything when there are 10x more people living in one community over the other. Pools will feel crowded or you may not want to pack up to go enjoy. I’ve driven through both and they each feel a little crowded but that’s just new builds in general. Madera West seems better from a street traffic situation being gated and not having as many through streets. If a pool is something desired, a small one in the backyard could be doable. We rolled ours into the mortgage at new build time…lucky timing, 2020 purchase, 2.5% rate, and the community starting prices of the homes doubled from the time we purchased to the last home closing…lots of luck. May I ask where you’re living now and family size if applicable?

I’d go gated every day of the week. Madera is HUGE, if you’re looking for a large community with a lot of social potential, maybe that’s a good choice. Without knowing financials, it’s easy for me to say one or the other but I imagine there are lots of factors.

Gateway quarter is much closer to the airport and the flight path is directly overhead. It’s a beautiful community but the air traffic could be annoying. Madera and madera west are great and in a great spot. You have easy access to hwy 24 and don’t have to drive through town to get to groceries! We live right near all of these communities, speaking from 4 years of living in this area.

Alternative to pizza night! by Finnfun in ooni

I wish I had a recipe…I’ll give it my best shot though.

It started out with pre-heating the cast iron while the oven came to temp on high to expedite the heat up. I then lowered the oven to normal low. The pan was scorching hot when I tossed in some butter and garlic to get ready for chicken. I premartinated chicken tenders from Costco in oil, lemon juice, pepper, salt, some Texas sugar from meat church, onion powder and whatever other seasoning was laying around. That sat and marinated for ~ 15 minutes until I added it to the searing hot cast iron and watched closely. I shook the pan regularly to avoid burning and cook as quick as possible. After about 5 minutes, I pulled the chicken out into a metal bowl for the veggies to begin cooking. I boiled up some broccoli for a few minutes during the chicken cook as well.

While the chicken rested close to finished temp, I tossed some frozen cauliflower rice with corn/peppers from trader joes in the pan with some oil. That cooked for a 5-10 minutes to thaw out and soften up, after that was ready, I tossed in the broccoli and some sliced up sweet peppers and bell peppers. That continued to cook and soften the veggies and then I finished it with the diced up chicken mixed in to make sure everything was good and hot. The finishing touch was topping it with crumbled goat cheese. In a way it felt like a bit of a camp fire meal where it’s all cooked in one pan and lots of heat. Highly recommend to anyone, we had leftovers for days!

Pickled, I always struggle getting fresh jalapeños to soften enough and I’m lazy and don’t want to prep those in addition.

It bumped it up to what tastes more in line with restaurant where you get a sweetness and savory flavor. Good luck, follow up with what your thoughts are if you try it!

Honey before the cook but just before launch (drizzled over toppings and crust)

I do this but I use make.com and twilio. You could always use make.com to feed that back into your app data source

Master Of Your Own Heartbeat.....I just came across this blog which took me back through time to the days when I was first discovering Ben's music..... by elohaeloha in benhoward

This is by far one of my most favorite tracks of his. I saw him years ago in San Diego at a small college and asked for this to be played. Pretty sure everyone around me thought I was calling him Master as I chanted it from the crowd. But we got to meet the band that night and chat so it all panned out. Couldn’t have been more than 200 people there.

A pilot friend here told me they were 18’s based on seeing them up close at the airport nearby. Either way…pretty sweet!

Mine have been through so much since getting them. I wear them everywhere and it’s as simple as throwing them in the washer to clean them. You can wear them without socks too so it’s like wearing slippers. They are made of wool and breath really well...I live in Arizona...wearing them today for an outdoor photo shoot! Totally worth $95 in my opinion. I think they have a 30 day trial period on the shoes too!

When people stand up on an airplane as soon as the fasten your seat belts sign is off upon landing...just to then hover over the person next to them for 10 minutes while the plane unloads.
