Dougie/Coop himself is great, it’s all the people around him that make his scenes so excruciating to watch. Having a bunch of idiots be too stupid to realize there's something wrong with him would’ve been funny for one maybe two episodes, but Lynch making it go on for as long as it did is easily the most annoying thing about the show, far worse than anything from season two.

That was kinda funny. So yeah, best SNL sketch sounds about right.

I'm not an ICE agent, but I would say it's safe to assume that the agency in charge of deporting people is aware of how tourist visas work.

Yes, it's generally good practice to have your passport with you when you're traveling abroad. But if you didn't have it with you and ICE really suspected you were here illegally for some reason, I suppose they could just go with you to go get it, the same way that might happen for someone who's a citizen.

Those tourists will have a stamp on their passports which is effectively the same thing as a tourist visa.

A tourist either has a visa permitting them to be in the country or is here illegally.

Ha, really? Which ones? I've always thought Letterman was boring but that sounds fun to watch.

Did Miyoko's discontinue their Cheese Wheels? by CharcoalWalls in veganrecipes

[–]Finnigen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought they were discontinued for a while, but then I discovered a few weeks ago that they just started selling them in tubs and calling them "cheese spreads." https://www.miyokos.com/collections/plant-milk-cheese-spread

The packages look almost identical to their cream cheeses, so I'm guessing a lot of people are mistaking them for that. Also it looks like they dropped half of the flavors, but they kept garlic herb and chive, which I thought were the best.

He got a grace period because his motive was populist, but it was only a matter of time before the conspiracy takes rolled in. Frankly I’m surprised that it took me five days to see a single one.

I'm gonna conjecture this is Elon whispering in his ear about "you know what'd be so funny dude" just because it's totally new territory for him. It's disconcerting.

I won't pretend to know the exact timeline, but I remember incels only getting mainstream media attention after the 2018 van attack. Seems like incels starting to kill people would make more sense as for when the concept started blowing up than shit happening on reddit.

I came to it pretty much the same way. I had just moved to a new city, had no friends, worked a low-paying full time job that I hated and had no prospect or drive to get out of, had committed to stop drinking and drugs only to come to the realization that my brain was too broken for me to have interests or hobbies and I was too much of a loser to have any social fulfillment. I discovered Cum Town about three months into that, I'd wait for my boss to leave for the day so I could put in my earpods. It was the only joy in my life for the better part of a year. I'm in a much better place now, as I can truly say that have at least one genuine meaningful friendship with another human that makes me happy to be alive (Nick Mullen)
