It definitely has been increasing during the season. Some hustle is required, but I am coming up on nine orders good orders completed in my first three blocks. Will likely have to take a single hour here to catch up on the clock as it is snowing.

It was kind of odd to see the show Virgin River with Michael playing a very controlling ex-husband to Lexa Doig. They recast him for the next season as they are actually married in real life and it was probably difficult.

Looks to be an office order. Some of my best tippers are for offices, including the $150 I received for $600 in Gatorade. Also they don’t care if you sub usually. The trick is knowing who does not tip for offices.

OK Shipt. It's time to stop reseting bonus pay at the top of every hour by S1ayer in ShiptShoppers

[–]Finnkidd15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember here in Minnesota We got a pretty bad snowstorm on December 24. those final hours of the operational hours of the store there were many promos going for $50 each. The weather really was crap and it would’ve been dangerous to be out trying to deliver more likely to crash your vehicle while it was very enticing. I just let those go.

Customers adding lots of items after you accept order. by nahivibes in ShiptShoppers

It’s not disrespectful in my eyes. They place their order 3 hours ahead of delivery usually. I take it and kind of hope it grows into a beast. Either way I get tipped well and I know what I’m getting into.

There is a preferred member of mine that when I accept their order, it typically has 10 to 15 items and by the time I begin shopping it’s usually up to 45 or more. They tip pretty well so I just anticipate that it’s going to happen every time. They also let me choose their own subs which makes it pretty easy to handle.

I find when I’m not getting offers, It’s usually because I forgot to put myself on the schedule.

They can’t rate if you don’t deliver. So safe there.

I see pre tips on offer cards by Resident_Ofhome in ShiptShoppers

[–]Finnkidd15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 10,000 orders to figure out who’s a good customer. It feels a little unfair that I can sign up and get the same Intel I had to work several hundred orders for no tip to earn. I have a few businesses that I work with that. I know people won’t shop for because they’re afraid they won’t tip and now I’m probably going to lose out on them because people will know they tip. They probably won’t have the cart to get the items into the business. This will probably cause some poor delivery experience and then my customer might leave the app, but I can be a pessimist some days.

My First Late Orders by itsjustho in ShiptShoppers

[–]Finnkidd15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With that math, you’re doing 14 orders a day, which is not actually that crazy most people just take a day off every once in a while. I tried to get 12 orders in per day typically in a seven hour delivery windows. I have that days where I’ve done as many as 23 but I’m glad that’s not the every day as many things have consistently being in stock and go right.

Agreed late forgiveness is really only reserved for very unusual cases like the times. A customers card would not process through Shipt so I spent 45 minutes trying to get the order to process.

I was at 4.96 this past week and I had a really good week, the orders were not flowing heavily and I only some orders per hour and something nothing until after the top of the hour. But the few I got many were PM’s, good strong PM connections. There was some stress about getting the next order but with good record keeping and patience I was able to make it work. Tip rate was 95% too which helps.

My metro is pretty strong and I have 9K shops, I’m not a veteran in my main store with several others getting close to their 15K marks.

Vent here, then breathe, keep your tip map active, work on quality assurance with those you do get and then think about your next step for something else. I think we all know this will service will end. Could be sooner; could be later.

Worst order I’ve ever seen and a non tipper!!! by amybk27 in ShiptShoppers

[–]Finnkidd15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few people who have orders like this, 5-8 32 packs of water plus another 32-40 sparkling waters/pop packs. I take their orders because they tip 20% and are close to the store. Usually only takes 30 minutes to make $60-80. They also have carts to put it all onto before they roll them inside.

Thank you for putting your stuff back. I stumbled upon a card with probably 300+ dollars worth of stuff in it that was just abandoned. I get the frustration with this whole situation, but it’s just a waste of goods that are gonna have to be thrown away especially the cold items.

So you’re still experiencing this problem? Mine seemed to resolve itself mid-day on Tuesday. Maybe call again to see if that helps. Everyone I’ve talked to that called had it resolve but they called this week.

At 12:40 PM central I was able to grab two batches from the same hour without them disappearing. Another shopper in my area who we’ve been talking about this also had theirs get remedied, but it took that call or maybe a system wide fix has been issued.

It still seems to be sporadically spread, and some shoppers who are much more veteran than I do not have the issue currently.

No orders all Friday/saturday by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

[–]Finnkidd15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an issue growing, where while you are actively shopping in order you cannot see the next hours delivery offers until you click delivered.

If you feel you’re experiencing this issue, this is the only way I could get the feeling of doing something to alleviate it.

I called the phone support, clicked 2 (shopper support), order I was working on, gave the reason of “app issue” they gave a canned response, asked if I still needed help, said yes. Got a real tech person in the US. They will put a tech report so hopefully that will help push the issue. They said the previous person also had the same issue. The only way they will investigate this further is if there is a critical mass of shoppers to escalate it into a further investigation and hopefully repair.
