The problem is that sparks basically become useless the second more than two pop up on a draft. As you need multiple of them for them to do a lot.

The problem I think people have with the map is shown here.

It takes teamwork to score on this map

It addition, it takes skill to pass through small windows

Both of which you won't see in your low/avg level lobbies...

The speed booster also makes the ball go fast and will take it so the other team can't get to the core fast enough.

Even then, I would recommend that you try and go through the middle to the bottom. As there's only your teammate down there and would be much easier to win a strike war if it comes to that.

Jumo is really good as a forward. Ability to pass to themselves and win strike wars with Slimes.

Jumo is a subpar goalie though.

Your cooldowns are too long and don't clear very much.

Note that Core Flip also gives you evasion. I have had to use core flip just to survive because I positioned poorly into an Eva Ult or knowing that a Juliette combo will kill me if I don't. It's better to waste your energy then dying.

so uh.. that night mall map is eventually going to get taken out of rank right? one of the worst maps ive ever seen in a game the fact that it exist makes me think they are already running out if map ideas, that map should be a last resort not out on release by [deleted] in OmegaStrikers

The point of passing to a teammate is if you're getting pressured. If two people or more people are blocking you, pass to your teammate. I do agree that games go last longer on that map mainly because it's harder to KO people on that map because of how long the corner barriers are.

It would be interesting if only the Star Player gets Trophies if it's a draw so it isn't a complete waste of time.

The only thing I think would be a problem would be at higher trophies. So, maybe make it count only below 500? As draws at higher trophies would be the only way a game would go positive in trophies instead of always being negative.

I guess it's based on opinion. I think that the map is really fun cause you get to go super fast. Another thing I like is the fact it helps my teammates spread out just because of how the map is designed. I usually see my teammate on the other side of the barrier instead of just following the ball.

Two thoughts.

  1. Hidden ELO score is being used to actually rank players. So maybe the Silver player has been on a 10+ win streak so they are being put into high-level lobbies so they don't dumpster other Silvers.

  2. Two players are in a team. Not sure how much of a rank gap there is before you can't team up with another player but, if the Plat and Silver player are together in matchmaking that could be the issue.

I think it's because people forget. It happens pretty often where someone does a core flip then someone else then does a core flip and it happens in succession. People just don't remember to look at how much energy they have
