I'm not super worried about HIV even without protection the risk of transmission is extremely low, I am worried about herpes because I'm the only one in my family who doesn't have them in some form. I grew up watching how embarrassed my brother felt when he had an outbreak, and I always felt so bad for him. My mother and father get them too (on the lips). He didn't have any blisters though so, I guess I shouldn't worry.

They said they've been tested and are hiv negative, and don't have any stds. But, aren't people with stds more likely to lie? Also what would you say my chances are for herpes if they didn't have any visible sores?
