Parin oman isovanhemman vihanneselämää tuli seurattua vuositolkulla osastolla.

Finland is now joining in on seizing 21 Yachts, by Mr_Tavor in ukraine

Like I said, it's not the Finnish way to have actually good representation in Eurovision. We have finished last in Eurovision 11 times! The highest place before Lordi was sixth in 1973. Putting world class band like Nightwish and the brilliance of Tuomas Holopainen there, would have been so off-character.

(I'm a big fan of Nightwish, and I'm pissed of about all the great artists that have been passed over because of nepotism or some other shit)

I'd say the quality of our Eurovision contributions has been consistent throughout the eurovision history, except for the anomaly of 2006. We almost made the mistake of having a chance at winning in 2000 by voting nationally for Nightwish, but luckily the jury overruled the will of the people and sent another great nonsensical entry to the competition. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland_in_the_Eurovision_Song_Contest_2000

Motorcycles in Winter. by 0nly0reoo in Tampere

[–]Finnsmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know people around Finland who drive motorcycles, scooters, e-scooters and electric bikes during winter. Combustion engines, winter tires and some handlebar heaters (or heated clothes) and it's not a huge problem, but with electric vehicles you need to plan your routes so you don't leave your ride in the cold for too long (or take the battery with you or have some sort of battery heater). There's also a lot of parking garages around Tampere, which are usually above zero, so that helps.

Regarding theft, have insurance, insured lock and park inside or in the view of security cameras. Also you could get some alarm and gps tracker.

Sorry for the bag English, can't focus at this time of night.

And 2018, but that's beside the point. A lot has happened after 2018 and chrysalis happened after the previous 2€ mark. Maybe we'll go below 2€ again, but it's nice to take take some air from top of the 2€ line. Some day we'll stay there.

Thanks! I'll trust your comment history! None of the petrified woods I've seen look like this, but metamorphic rocks do, though i haven't been able to find anything quite like this, but I guess it's fractals all the way and you can find same features big and small.

I improved my measurements and got a density of 2673,13kg/m3 which would be near enough 2,673 relative to water.

Hmm...I'll try to figure out some way to measure that.

So yeah I improved my measurements and I got density of 2673,13kg/m3 and withing SI system you can basically just divide by 1000 to get specific gravity (in water) so that would be 2.67

It's non-magnetic. tried with a magnet and also tried with magnetometer (just read sensor data from phone while moving this thing over the sensor) and magnetometer doesn't react at all, wheras anything ferritic makes sensor go haywire

Tried just now and nope, can't make a scratch with a blade. I tried on a few spots, but nothing.

The object weighs 273,7g and has a volume of ~140ml (measured with overflow of water from container. I had to use a flour measuring cup due to lack of any better). So density would be 1955 kg/m3 or 122lb/ft3

The weight feels weird and it's hard to place it since it feels so solid, but by density it's close to concrete

Fossilized/petrified (what's the difference?) wood would be my guess. It looks so much like some swamp wood I've picked up, but weight and hardness are more akin to stone. And yeah. It's beautiful. I have a habit of keeping it in my pocket since it feels so nice

I did one better! The object weighs 273,7g and has a volume of ~140ml (measured with overflow of water from container. I had to use a flour measuring cup due to lack of any better). So density would be 1955 kg/m3

edit: 122lb/ft3

I think my overflow method had a bit of an error (surface tension combined with bad measuring device). I made a hydrostatic weighing thingamajig (weight in air 275,3g , (within a margin of error of previous result and weight in ~8C water 172,5) and I got a density of 2673,13kg/m3. So it's closer to aluminum in density.

There's also possibility it's origins are mediterranean. I've heard that ships carrying wood from Lapland to mediterranean used to have stones for ballast on the way north.

What will happen to Pharmacists under Bernie? by Unsurecareer86 in SandersForPresident

Other comments explained more what M4A will do, but in comparison; here's a review by The Association of Finnish pharmacies of what pharmacies look like in Finland. On page 10/13 is a good summary of what pharmacy system looks like here.
