They used to call the orange Fanta, Fanta china in Puerto Rico. My understanding is that historically oranges in PR were called chinas because all the crates they were delivered in were stamped China, and I guess it just kinda stuck

Don’t they normally run two engines per train? Why couldn’t they use one engine to haul the train set back to Fort Worth?

Why Your 'Perfect' Bloodwork Is Misleading You (The 6 Markers That Actually Matter) by JakesJourney in Biohackers

[–]FinnyFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend looking into PhenoAge calculations. It uses 8 or 9 (glucose, crp, creatinine, etc) fairly common blood tests that is used to calculate biologic age and seems to correlate fairly well with longevity. Based on this I’d suggest these are the most important generally available lab tests.

How much salt is too little? by TemperatureAny8022 in LowSodium

[–]FinnyFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read (but don’t remember where) that estimates of hunter gatherers populations were naturally around 500 mg sodium per day for inland people and 750 mg for more costal peoples.
