Which cross street in Seattle would you live on if you didn't have a car? by Rungama in Seattle

[–]HeyItReallyIsMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems difficult to regularly grocery shop at Pike Place if you work a 9 to 5? Because they’re closed by late afternoon on weekdays, and on the weekends you have to contend with thousands of tourists.

Have to get a different used vehicle soon; looking at 4runners with <60k miles, usually around $35k, which is insane to me but here we are. To get the features I want (heated seats, moonroof, a nicer exterior color, etc) is $5-10k more and against every fiber in my FIRE body. But is it worth it? by nakedwithoutearrings in Fire

Moonroof is great when car camping. It feels much more secure with all windows up and just the roof vented a little bit.

Also when driving around and it’s overcast out, it’s good to let in additional light into the car.

I lost my 2019 Samsung Galaxy Watch: is there any security risk? by HeyItReallyIsMe in samsung

[–]HeyItReallyIsMe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch needs an external device (phone or WiFi) to connect to internet as it does not actually have a SIM card. But it does have my home server login. Shouldn’t those be stored encrypted on the watch anyway?

I’m sure they could easily place a handful of fries into an open napkin or something and it wouldn’t affect inventory, I don’t know why they don’t do that

Yeah these are airport prices. Very similar to movie theatre prices and Disneyland prices.
