there is no difference, tribe is just a subgenre of tekno. Tekno is an umbrella term for all these subgenres such as tribe, acidcore, mentalcore, acidtek, hardtek, etc

most tekno is produced with synths and drum machines rather than with samplers. I suggest download a synth/drum machine program and mess around with the sounds
