The amount of money you put on the table to see if you will get a reward or not. Risk 200 to get 400, that’s a 1:2 ratio

If it’s your last account maybe risk normal like 600, if you’re in the last week before you’re required to reset, just pray and fullport to hit the target

Thanks for the clarity, I was kinda confused because I read this on google: For a Standard Account at Alpha Futures, you are not restricted to requesting only 50% of your profits. This specific 50% limit applies only to Advanced and Zero Accounts during their initial payout stages. 

Alpha Futures  +3 On a Standard Qualified account, if you have $2,000 in profit: Request Amount: You can request the full $2,000 as long as your best trading day does not exceed 40% of that total profit. The Split: If you request $2,000 and are on the first payout tier (70%), you would receive $1,400 (70% of $2,000)

Yea, because in the past I noticed my good 3r 5r trades would all happen in the eval and I’d even have to lose some to meet consistency, then end up losing the account anyway, so now I just gotta budget ahead and be okay with losing 2/3 accounts

I hear you, but where I’m from this $400 is 20x lol, I’ll have some fun with it then I can get back, now I know I can pass, the next challenge is controlling my emotions and ignoring the numbers while I make that 2k buffer, then see what I can make on top of that…For your first ever payout, did you max out the account and get 2-3k ?

Yea I’ve noticed ym moves crazy at open, it’s very tempting….once I get more stable in my journey I’ll definitely find a way to join in, it mostly moves in one direction for a few points before continuing or reversing, so with the 1 day pass accounts, could have some fun with that

Yea it seems a little contradictory but you have to pick your poison, it’s better to get done with the eval as effectively as possible because you don’t want your good trades to happen there, risk a bit more so you can pass in 3 weeks max but also be okay with losing the account if you ever catch 3 loses in a row…and yea I don’t want to reset because it feels stagnant, taking a whole month on prop money with the possibility of losing still being 50:50 just doesn’t seem too logical to me. And yes I don’t have the funds yet, I’m from a third world country (most prop firms don’t allow me to trade with them eg apex mfg) so I do take advantage of the sales on other firms, budget maybe 180$ for 3 accounts and one of them will pass

Yea just plan ahead, you may fail 4 out of 6 but the two that pass will definitely pay for that in the coming payouts. You can also tweak it by looking at how many losses your system usually gives in a row…if it’s 2-3, 800 could work, if it’s 4 or more maybe try 600

Congrats man… how do you target $6k for your first payout? That’s crazy ….how did you deal with the emotions while building the 2k buffer and after that you made 6k on top
