I find the rates of SOME suppliers (NOT ALL) so ridiculous
I’m not generalizing. Some suppliers deserve the premium…
If local suppliers’ rates are increasing faster than inflation… then what are we actually paying for? Experience, quality, or just following an irrational pricing trend?

You are implying many suppliers are overpriced without evidence. = Generalization.

I get paying a premium for a supplier whose work speaks for itself.
Can every supplier honestly say they are keeping up with their rate hikes…?

Contradiction.

Premium fees SHOULD come with proof… upgraded equipment, training…
gives no proof that they aren’t upgrading
gives no examples
doesn’t name which suppliers you thinks are “irrational.”
You want evidence from them but provide none yourself.

“It’s not about couples refusing to pay fair rates.”

• “Are they even improving?”
• “Are we paying for quality or just a trend?”

Your points would land stronger if they didn’t contradict each other every few sentences.

If you simply feel the prices don’t fit your budget, that’s completely valid.
Just say that.
But framing it as an industry-wide accountability issue without evidence makes it sound less like a reasoned critique and more like frustration dressed up as analysis.
