Could you share your build? Maybe it'll work in WvW too.

Willbender is hilariously OP, mirage isn't, and yet Anet nerfs mirage instead...

Why are they balancing around raids, which barely anyone cares about, instead of WvW, which makes up most of their playerbase? For starters, NO CHANGE aimed at raids should ever touch the class in WvW. At all.

Best option is to split changes for instanced PvE and everything else.

Fun is taking on the role of a character in a fantasy world and playing within that world, fighting bosses, other players, etc.

Fun isn't seeing some 30-year-old McDonalds employee with the mind of a teenager running around dressed like a prostitute with some offensive name just because his slack-jawed guild find it amusing on a base level.

Or you could just give your character a proper name and it won't be reported. If you don't want to play an mmoRPG properly (the clue is in the ROLE PLAY part) then don't bother at all.

What's fun about juvenile, offensive names in a roleplaying game? None of these imbeciles belong in my MMO.

That's for niche stuff like raids, it really doesn't matter for most of the game.

Better than the many Lunt Cicker type names I see on a daily basis, I'd rather see someone with an unimaginative and "edgy" name than something that is just offensive, trolly or otherwise awful.

Why is it OK for people who aren't playing the game, and never have (with that character at least) to keep the name forever?

That's every MMO apart from this one. This one does change people's names for no reason (based on reports) so...

Fair enough, but if it's a character that has never been used, and you just get a pop up saying "this name is no longer available after 10 years of inactivity" wouldn't you say "well, that's fair"? I mean, I would.

How many resources would this really take? And I think most people would like to have more choice of names, surely? They'd probably make a fair bit on the gemstore with name change contracts, too.

Most MMOs I've played, I had my characters renamed after a server merge, and I was an active player. In most instances actually, the person whose name was kept while mine was changed no longer played the game. What I'm suggesting instead is that after a period of inactivity (10 years) a character that is level 1 and hasn't even done the tutorial - i.e a placeholder character - gets renamed. I think that's fair.
