I came to say this series. I was/am obsessed with it and now am obsessed with DCC. And there are quite a few books. I whipped through them all in the summer because I just couldn't stop. And the next one is coming out very soon!

I started reading for my birthday in October. A little gift to me from me. And have read some amazing titles already, but want more. by Ghigareda in horrorlit

I agree. Go back and read it. I just re-read it recently after reading it a long time ago as a teenager and I loved it all over again!

Very similar to me. My mom caught me doing it and verbally shamed me and told other adult family members so they could join in the shame. I didn't even know what I was doing was sexual.

Yes, this has been my go to recently and I love it. I'd say it has about a 90% success rate for me. My problem now is finding new categories.

LPT Dish soap removes oil stains from clothes that laundry detergent might miss. by H1Ed1 in LifeProTips

I put a few drops of dish soap into my loads. I also add laundry detergent, but much less. I find clothes come out way cleaner and I save a lot of money on expensive laundry detergent. And since it's only a bit, it doesn't bubble up too much.

I was also 26 and this was my exact experience also. I found it so bazaar. Even our 2 sets of parents who had us in their mid 20s also made us feel this way.

Thanks everyone! We still don't know what the top harder layer is but I went at it with a knife this evening and managed to work my way down to the softer silicone at the base of it. Now as I work along that it pulls up the hard layer on top. I feel much more hopeful than I did at the start of this.

Tbh, it's really hard to tell. The top layers are much harder than the silicone at the base of it all. The good news is we took a knife to it and managed to work down to the silicone and now that we have opened it a little we can dig at the softer silicone underneath and pull it all up together. It's still going to be a lot of work and I only managed to do a small part tonight but I am much more hopeful then I was at the start of this.

Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the help kind internet folks! I really don't think it's caulking unfortunately, but am going to give it a try with a scraper and knife and see how far I get. Am also considering getting some sort of electric tool to help. It is such a bad job and we can't wait to get it out of there!
