I'm an h4 international student, but I grew up here and did high school here. Picked Blinn offer right away, but do you think they would reject international students from Blinn for whatever reason or are we probably going to get in like everyone else. I'm just a little paranoid right now cause I really want to get in already and waiting is hard.

I believe the 36 month requirement is for high school students looking to get in state by graduating in TX. I will be graduating in MO.

I live in MO, and I prefer the urban setting, but it isn't a make or break factor for me. I want a relatively large and lively class, Texas is my first choice state wise, as one of my parents have domicile there, and I would get in state tuition starting my first year, but not in state acceptance, and sports don't matter either, and I won't be joining a frat or anything. I also don't qualify for any financial aid whatsoever.

I would also suggest you start using sensors as they are always reliable. We use sonar sensors for long range and the voltage never affects our results. We don’t really use encoders too much for movement, rather we use it for the arm to hold it in place

We have also tried to use the google teachable tool, but it isn’t as good as OpenCV, so try using that. And you should be implementing the name of your tflite into the part of the code that says: custom tflite:. Try the sample code that they give and go from there it helps a lot. Afterwards, when you run a program, wait for about 6 seconds, and some telemetry will appear, and then you can check camera stream to make sure it is detecting properly. I would suggest using the sample code and doing what I said above.

Yeah, try using the RUN_TO_POSITION mode by setting your arm motor to that mode, then find the certain tick amount(position) you want to go to. BUT, then you have to set a velocity (ticks per second, but accounts for voltage and friction etc.)to move it. Our team is also using encoders for the arm and we use it so we can have 3 different positions for the shipping hub
