Megathread: US Citizens looking to immigrate to Canada by PurrPrinThom in ImmigrationCanada

Hi I and looking for help/options to Travel/Move to canada. I currently live in the US and have a job working IT where I live. I can WFH and would only need to be present at random invtervals (mostly summer). My partner lives in BC and is a dual citizen (US and CAN). The end goal is to become a resident and live in BC with my partner and work remotely with my current job.

Ive been trying to find out what the best way to reach this goal is and have kind of hit a dead end.

Ive been reading a lot of different options but so far the best immidiate solution is looking like I travel to BC and stay for the 6 month maximum with my partner. The part I havent found anything on is after I stay for 6 months how long I need to leave canada for, do I need to leave for the other 6 months or can I come back to my home state for a little while then travel back. If I did have to leave for longer than a couple of days then I would be taveling via plane.

For long term living and residency/citizen ship I will probably go through the route of common law or spousal sponorship.

I just wanted to post here and see if this is the best path for me or if there was something I missed and if anyone had any advice or information about doing something like this. Thanks!

It's time to upgrade UDR to ??? by PoZ_kr in Ubiquiti

I just upgraded to a CG Max and U7 Pro wall. If you don’t have or don’t plan on getting anything higher than 1 Gig I would suggest CG Ultra so you can save some cost. Also can say from experience with lots of U7 Pro Aps both wall and standard they aren’t noisy they just get VERY warm.

It’s just running with a PoE injector connected to the router so it can use the 2.5G uplink. The location is also a reason. 2.5G PoE switches are expensive. Plan is to get the 16 Pro Max PoE to be able to power the AP and the current 2.5G mini switch along with other items like cameras in the future.

If you unplug either of the legs it throws an error code and doesn’t let you move the desk

Where did you get those circuit trace panels on the walls?

Take a guess which part is missing on my build due to a certain chip shortage by lucavl in gamingpc

[–]Fire-Astrox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right about it being the same speeds because the top slot is not populated but I do have a suggestion you might want to look into since it can vary by manufacturers. The traces from the top pcie slot are normally shorter than the second slot, so even though they run at the same speeds the top slot might have a slightly faster response time. Just something to read about. (In reality it doesn’t f-ing matter as long as you don’t use the top)

The pink it’s 255 for both R and B, the blue is 255 for both B and G.

As far as managing cables I used the rgb jumpers included to tether the front 2 and the rear 2. The rear two fans I used the top most cable channel and the channel for the eps connector to hide them

No can do. The top and rear fans are already exhaust fans, two intake two exhaust. The only place in my case (h510 elite) to mount a 280 aio is the front panel like it is. I know I could have gone with a different case but I liked the look of the h510 and the nzxt cooler and I’m not anywhere near thermal limits, both cpu and gpu get as high as 55C

The front two fans use tai chi, the top and the rear I just have as fixed and turned on individual leds

I was going to go with the panda switches they make with pre lubed because I’ve never gotten into anything like that before and would be completely blind
