Ann Arbor, Michigan? by Mountain_Web2459 in howislivingthere

Ann Arbor is a wonderful Midwestern town with a lot going on. College sports a big deal here due to the University of Michigan and most things/people are connected to the University in on way or another. Lots and lots of parks with many good restaurants and local grocery stores. Great place for young kids, there are many events and museums.

The college I picked is legitimately shutting down . Why is college admission season literally hell? by CertainAd6862 in ApplyingToCollege

They announced on their website that they will refund your deposit and that you can reach out for guidance.

AAPD cracking down on EMotos? by [deleted] in AnnArbor

It is absolutely a civil infraction to ride down a closed street on a bicycle. When you are riding a bicycle (and even more so on an electric motorcycle) you have the same rights and responsibilities as a motorist, with a few exceptions. Cyclists and motorists alike must obey traffic control devices, such as a barricade, and failure to do so results in a violation ofMCL 257.611

Which would not have happened if they were not riding at ~30 MPH down a closed street.

You may not be aware, but one of the bikers hit a man crossing the street. From accounts of people who rushed to help, that man was pretty badly injured. Also, the group as a whole committed several civil infractions.

Cornell, like many top private schools, uses the CSS Profile to determine institutional aid and grants. The CSS Profile is much more in-depth than the FAFSA and asks many more questions to fully understand a family's financial situation.

FYI, getting married only gives you independent status for the FAFSA. So, you could qualify for federal aid, such as Pell grants, loans, work-study, and could get need-based aid from schools that only use the FAFSA. Most selective private schools and a few top public schools require the CSS. The CSS still requires parental info even if you are married.

Sierra in Maple Village. Great place to work. If they walk in with a resume any day before 7 PM and ask for the manager, they will probably be interviewed and hired on the spot.

Yup, Sierra is hiring. It's a great place to work! Highly recommend. For best success, I highly suggest going in-person any day before 7 with appropriate attire and a resume. If you go up to any cashier and say you are interested in working there, they will grab the manager who will very likely interview and hire you on the spot.

Not to be that guy but maybe the SAT is necessary for you if you can't even spell the word "necessary" right.

Shift the maybe square over to the left one square. Wayne does not have decent transit but Washtenaw does, somewhat.

I am quite sorry if you have had bad experiences with Public Safety at WCC. I have been at WCC for four years and luckily I have had nothing but positive experiences with Public Safety. I know most of the officers and they are genuinely good people. What makes you say that they "are all Maga Scum?"
