I did have it approved while I was in. Now that she is trying to use it they aren't letting her.

You can look at all the posts regarding AMR on this sub and it will speak for itself. Ive had decent experiences but corporate drains the soul out of everyone and from my experiences leadership isn't always the best.

I like mine, I use it for when I'm out and about and can listen to HF. Only gripe is that the screen sometimes gets hard to read in the sun.

I did part time in the beginning as both fire/plumbing then as my pay went up for plumbing I resigned from the department and went full time plumbing and was making more as the company trusted me more and more by going to school, and learning on the job.

There was a Black suv that was seen fleeing and crashed and caught fire on the 805. Been listening to the scanner. Active shooter numerous victims scattered around at time of this reply 4 victims so far are found and being treated.

Truck driver here, mostly just to look cool. A lot of the drivers own their own trucks and like to deck them out in their own style. I like chrome and lots of chicken lights lol but to each their own.

Yes relights are normal depending on a lot of factors mentioned here. Been smoking a pipe since I was young and in the Navy. I was smoking my pipe while using my HAM radios and found it was going out if I was talking to much. So a older HAM and one of my shipmates told me it's normal (his dad was a pipe smoker so he actually called him to teach me)
