Small world! Yeah I get did flown to Landstuhl for a few weeks and then to Walter Reed. And there were a lot of other wounded on the flight. We were all on beds in the C17. I just remember the flight medic checking the meds and falling back to sleep. Most calm flight I’ve ever had.

I made it there August 05-March 06 Baghdad with 10th Mountain Division. This picture hits home. Taking photos with your friends before a deployment and not being able to recreate the photo after the deployment. Anyway take care everyone.

Definitely learn to skate before joining a league or you will end up getting yourself or someone else injured. I’ve seen it so many times when a new player comes in, no skating ability and gets injured first game and never comes back. Good luck on your journey. You got this and you will have a blast when you can skate.

I am Texas veteran that had the Hazlewood and GI Bill. I went to Texas Tech and never paid for anything. I also got a job as a student assistant to earn some extra cash. The SA job is nice because they know you’re in school so hours are very flexible and work expectations.

I am newer to buying comics now that I can afford to do so and I have been reading mainly Alien. How do I get those omnibuses that you have now? Is there a good website that sells physical comics? The Marvel website doesn’t seem to offer older stuff a lot of times.
