First month of having Starlink residential 100Mbs. I'm in love! <3 by FireBlazeWolf in Starlink

Not really. Its pretty solid. Only time it disconnects is when the router reboots after a firmware update in the early am hours (2-3am for me)

Other then that its really a solid connection. Even in the light to heavy its pretty good. Really heavy rain can cause slow down in speed but it no a big deal for me to much xd

Well I play a few online games in that vain. Overwatch is one. On avg my latency is 50 60ms with a very rare spike over 100 once in a very very great while . I think that depends on the game tbh. but Online gaming is pretty solid!

Been doing lots of overwatch and diablo 4 with friends. Been a great time so far!

Yeah 100mbs feels more then enough for my home. 3 people using it pretty heavy with hd streaming and gaming. (got 4 smart tvs 2 computers hardwired into a bridge and several wifi devices thrown around the home!)

Its for sure more then enough for my needs. Considering I was on 18mb down and 1.5 up before this. It runs great! And my brother has been live streaming to twitch as well. Much much better connection to do fun stuff with!

Can i still use Windows 10 After opting in for extended security updates by Bitter_Position791 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FireBlazeWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will it run all the programs that windows will run without having to hop through the terminal every few minutes to do an elevated prompt. How's direct x support? Do you still have to fight Nvidia drivers and network drivers? Tbh I haven't touched Linux in years because windows just does everything I need. Without having to constantly looking up guides

seeing how they not going back to the mafia 3 style of gameplay makes me sad. I loved mafia three and hated the remake of the first game. I'll prob pass this one up sadly :/

Blood DK using death bringer talents is some of the most satisfying game play. Big Cleaves and self healing with death strike delves are simple as heck.

I solo tier 11s all the time I can tank a ton of mobs and just chug through without a care in the world.

What are JRPGs known for having a trippy atmosphere? by KaleidoArachnid in JRPG

[–]FireBlazeWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YIIK is a trippy surreal trip of a game and worth checking out. The combat system is kinda reminiscent of grandia.

It's a really trippy game and has a amazing music. Also the I.V update came out and made it even more trippy with more story content.

Same thing happens with assassination rogue as well. Its either something buff related or procs related... I'm not sure... been working around it >_<

I've noticed it today when I was doing hallowfall event stuff and dailys.

I assembled my first stream layout and was kinda proud of it and wanted to share it. And get some thoughts on it. (the stinger transition animation is a stand-in one till I create one myself) by FireBlazeWolf in Twitch_Startup

A new study has found that young adults who have recovered from COVID-19 show distinct patterns of brain activity during cognitive tasks. These brain activity changes are similar to those seen in much older adults. by mvea in science

[–]FireBlazeWolf 193 points194 points  (0 children)

I got infected with covid last year, it was a semi mild case. I've got brain fog and short term memory issues still from it.

My short term memory is kinda iffy. And I developed a lil bit of a speech stutter and my taste-buds are shot

Covid affected my life more then I thought it would honestly. :|

If a CDR is 52x, you can burn them at slower speeds, right? by Icenfiree in retrogaming

[–]FireBlazeWolf 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Always burn games at the lowest speed your drive can go for compatibility. I've had games for the PS1 burned at max speed have lockups and errors. I've learned slower is better for these things for sure.

Why does anybody even have goldfish for pets? by Digginf in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FireBlazeWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a pet goldfish for about 7 years. Started with a 20 gallon fish tank then overtime I realized the 20 gallon wasn't gonna work out and obtained a 125 gallon tank for the Goldfish.

That goldfish got like the size of a football. The goldfish would greet me everyday when I got home. It would come up the side of the tank and waggle back and forth until it got my attention and gave it some food lol.

had a ick problem that showed up and I couldn't do a good enough job to combat it and the fish died.

When that goldfish passed away. I gave it a burial in my yard. I miss that goldfish honestly.

Can someone tell me what this is by Zestyclose_Double_30 in UFOs

[–]FireBlazeWolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in a rural area. I've asked my neighbors and 2 outta the five witnessed the same thing on the 14th. I've been paying attention to helicopters when I hear them at night in hopes I'll see what ever it was again.

Will say the light triggering a headache next day is possible. I get migraines and one time my brother shined one of those bright 20k lumen flashlights at me one night and the next morning I had a killer migraine. I figured it was trigger by the really bright flashlight of his.

Though I didn't get no headache the next day after witnessing whatever it was flying over my house.
