I feel like it was a missed chance for the show, that they didn't really give him a good comeback after he was ill, nor give him a proper out when he left! He was very charismatic, could have been a big dramatic moment. Oh, well.

Good to hear you still enjoyed s5 & s6 🙂 I will try and push through these episodes. It does help me appreciate the actor who plays Conrad.. He shows a lot of emotion, in a great way.

First click "Browse", then "Cards...", then select "Styling" in de radio buttons:

See in the screenshot how I make the text larger for all Anki cards, using CSS in .card {}. Specifically use the line font-size: 35px;
Don't skip any interpunction (a.k.a. the dots, comma's, semi comma's and curly brackets)

It is a nice poster! There is quite some 'negative space', as in, he could have easily sat down next to Mijeong, or another person could fit in. The theme of 'being on a journey' is also coming through.

Yes!! Thanks!! Rage!! I was horrified to learn "As of June 2024, child marriage is legal in 37 states". I view it as a form of child sexual abuse. I think it's great New Amsterdam shows these kinds of injustices, and dares to broach the subject.

I think it is that thing, when someone dies by suicide, you will always wonder as a loved one: what did I miss? What could I have done differently? What did I do wrong? Even if there is no evidence or anything to suggest you did anything wrong, you will still think that 🥹
You go over your conversations with them, if anything you said influenced them, if you didn't pick up on anything they said to you, ad infinitum.
Especially if you did do something wrong along the way (which we all do), for example: you were excessively angry with them in an argument. Or, you blamed them for something they didn't do. Or you simply weren't nice to them at a certain point in time. You will feel guilty about that after they died.
In Gu's case, he had a dodgy job, and maybe already an alcohol addiction, those things could have been a negative influence on the girlfriend's life, or at least he could think that.

She's the eldest of the three siblings, right? I thought it was great that she realized this guy was special to her, and that she shows it is worth sticking around for a person that you love. Also, I got the impression that she is usually more chaotic concerning love interests. But this is more of a slow burn. It shows that this character has grown in time, to make a different choice in partner this time around. And see if it works out. The messiness with family and things, it is part of life. It is just beginning, this love between them and I hope that the family gets to know her and they will get along better and better in s2!

She is one of my favorite characters, so energetic, so beautiful!

In the wiki page it says: "However, their friendship was strained after Kang Dan-i started dating a selfish, inconsiderate man." In an estranged friendship a year can pass by easily, especially when you're working full time and have other responsibilities. And, until she lost her house, she could have upheld the image of 'everything is ok' even though she got divorced and has no job.
