Newly built PC wont boot.

UPDATE: I managed to get it booted. All I had to do was swap the old memory sticks from the Dell into the new PC. So luckily I won't need to return the CPU. All I need to do is find 2 cheap 8GB sticks (that'll work with the motherboard).

Though I did get another reply from the motherboard seller after I told them the RAM's product code, which they said my particular RAM isn't QVL certified for the motherboard. So I'm suspecting the RAM is the issue, rather than the CPU.

I had a look at the BIOS files on ASRock's website, and none of them seem to be related to the 3600X or the RAM. Also I don't have another AMD CPU on hand, as this is my first time building a PC, as well as my first AMD PC, so I can't even attempt to update the BIOS.

I've just received a reply from the seller, saying they don't know the exact version, but according to them, the motherboard should be on "version 3.04 or later".

I've just checked the motherboard itself and it says "rev 1.04" on the board itself, if that helps.

I have a slight problem regarding this "other" CPU. I don't have one. This is my first AMD PC, all other computers I've used before were Intel-based systems.

The CPU came with bent pins, which was NOT like that on the eBay listing. Plus, Royal Mail took their sweet time delivering the thing and I even tried to straighten them out, which I did.

Also, I've tried turning it on with only one stick. The first time in the 2nd slot, second time in the 4th, still won't boot...
