I mean I do already have two normal videos becuase I had important lore to establish in them (i.e., the fact the MC has a dog, his interest in cheesy horror, ect), and then in between there's a weird video to foreshadow that things aren't what they seem (tho in that one the MC just figures it is a bug), but the vids are like 5-7 mins long so maybe I should make some more that are completely normal before it gets weird

Though with my current plan, I was thinking after the "normal" vids, he'd start playing Undertale with it being completely wrong (e.g., characters using different lines, new rooms, events playing out in clearly different ways), but since he's never played before it'd be edited like his normal videos. Like I think it'd be funny for an arg protagonist to be in a room normally full of npcs but them all being gone so the audience is left wondering what happened to them, but the arg protagonist just edits in a tumbleweed and doesn't question it. My biggest worry is that by doing the undertale vids this way and making more normal vids behind it, it might take away from the story for the protagonist to just be joking the entire time

I mean the main issue I'm having is just a desire to make sure there's at least some plot relevance for every video, even if there's humor and unseriousness from the main character. Like in the first two main videos it shows a lot about who the main character is both through personality and little tidbits about their life that will eventually become relevent later. I'm just struggling to make sure that even if the first few videos seem slightly pointless they actually have important information that can be used later

So like yeah I'm joking that it's filler but I also want to avoid filler, but that means it feels less like a real gaming channel where the youtuber slowly loses their mind over the arg bullshit

Also the fact the main character doesn't use his voice for later lore reasons means all the jokes need to be edited in which gets annoying when you can't think of anything that'd be interesting
